When our enemies see these comments by persons in leadership positions they know that they can win the war with a few more spectacular attacks

I can't say that I am surprised by this. They have stepped on their dicks with golf shoes so many times that they can piss in multiple directions at one time.

I'm picturing Murtha, who spent 30 years in Congress in near total obscrity save for the ABSCAM scandal, doing a Sally Field and jumping up and down yelling "You like me! You really like me!" when he speaks those on the left side of the party who eat up accusations like this and shower the speaker with waves of applause (until nothing happens at the ballot box, and they move on to tomorrow's flavor).

The photograph below was also posted today; it shows one of the Russian hostages with two of the terrorists.



I think it is a huge problem that much of America's media, academic institutions and political establishment think their principal enemy is George Bush, rather than the sadistic thugs who are still doing everything they can to kill us.

Give the Russian Federal Security Service a free hand in getting retribution for this. It would make them most happy.
 
My question is this. What is a Congressman representing a piece Pennsylvania doing giving speeches in Miami, Florida and probably doing so at government expense? If I were a resident of his district, I'd be contacting his office asking if it wouldn't be a better use of his time to be working for the people of his district.
 
He is running for a "leadership" position in Congress

He seems to be getting a primary opponent for the upcoming election, and the challenger is making headway!

Why would any person in a leadership position call the US a greater danger then rouge states?

This guy has more ethical questions around him then many that are serving JAIL TIME!
 
Iraq is a hopeless fuckup of a country. Whether we stay there another day, another year, or until the end of time, the Iraqis are going to remain pedophile-worshipping car-bombing fanatic rock-apes.

So we might as well pull out, and let Iraq go to hell on its own nickel rather than ours.

The problem with that is

The terrorists will use Iraq as a launching pad for attacks on the world, including us

Not to mention, Iraq has the second largest oil deposits in the world!

This is truly disturbing. Even the most viscious thugs of the Third Reich respected diplomatic immunity. Now we have Islamist maniacs torching embassies (over cartoons!), blowing up consulates and murdering diplomats. This is beyond the pale...is this not enough to persuade a single anti-war type that something must be done? Are you willing to cede to these savages?

Either do it right, or don't do it at all.

If we're going to invade Iraq, then let's invade it, occupy it, and annex it. That means banning Islam, shooting radicals on sight, bulldozing mosques--whatever pacification takes. No more illusions about Islam being a "religion of peace." Islam is the enemy in this war, like Nazism and Shintoism were enemy ideologies in WWII. To this day, Nazism is outlawed in Germany.

This is war. Either go to war all-out, or don't go at all.
