The CONSISTENT difference in the reaction of people is astounding.


When a woman brings up even a vague reference to discrimination against women, there's a stampede of sympathy, legislation, and even movement in the private industry. Take for instance the outcry about the obsession over thin waif-like women. Booyah. Lane Bryant in the house.

Contrast that to when men start complaining about stuff. They can even show documented facts to prove their case. The fucking asteroid belt doesn't have enough rocks to supply the general stone-throwing that ensues. Case in point. Watch the responses to this thread.

Why would any idiot want to have a son knowing no one's going to have sympathy for his troubles? The hell with that.
 
Girls are perfect. It's never the guys fault in a relationship. He should have been more supportive if she fucked another man.

Nail, Head, dude.

Begin with the double-standard that exists in many parts of the country, where all a woman has to do is say that she was domestically abused, and the guy automatically goes to jail, without probable cause, Do Not Pass Go, Do Not Collect $200, and carry it on through to the examples you cite, and it does add up to one nasty situation for men.

Of course, I have all daughters, but I understand what you are saying.

I was standing, eating a big plate-of-food at a wedding, watching people dance... a woman came-up and asked me: " Why do women 'have-to' sit-down during a meal, but men can naturally eat a full-course banquet-dinner STANDING-UP... ? " -I probably replied by alluding-to cavemen guarding cave-entrances, or something. But the-heart-of-that-woman's question says dozens-of-things about a woman, to me...

Well it is logical in a way since sex will be the first thing cut off if ya step out of line with most women.

This reminds me a lot of BusyBodys thread about the difference between NBCs treatment of Muslims and Christians.

I think there's a pattern here somewhere.

Men are being disparaged left and right and it's considered okay whereas disparage a woman in the press and you've stirred up a maelstrom.

BZZZZZT. YOU have no logic. Lavared and LadyFunkenstein have shown plenty of logic and reasoning here.
 
The only thing that annoys me, is that many people will never disagree with a woman.

I have worked in different group settings where an opinionated domineering woman with her own agenda tries to control what should happen all the time. A lot of guys will completely fold, and if you try to publicly state that she is wrong in what she is doing people think you are being hard on her.

If people want equality then a woman should be open to being told that her idea is bad, and to back off when she steps out of line.

Unfortunately if a man is willing to step forward to say something people say he is the controlling one, or doesn't like women.
