"Welcome to the home I share with Broken_Angel. It is a cozy log cabin that sits at the mounded crest atop Pine Tree Hill. As you can see, Spirit and I are beginning to decorate for the holidays and thought it would be fun to share our home and our decorating ideas with our friends.
"Please... come on in. Join in the fun as we decorate the tree, hang holly and share our favourite recipes... whether it be for beverages, cakes, or cookies, or for the main meal.
"You can share family stories or remembrances of one of a Christmas from long, long ago... either one as a child, or one that was told to you by a family member.
"As you enter into the Hall,
you'll see a long sofa table against the wall that runs along the side of the staircase leading up to the second floor landing. On the table you will find a tureen of Hot Mulled Cider, a pitcher of Hot Cocoa, and a Wassail Bowl. Cups are on the trays, as are cookies and other still warm-from-the-oven treats. There's even fresh Gingerbread!
"So, hang up your coats, take off your boots and shoes; and get something hot to drink and warm to eat. Then, come into the living room and plant yourself down in front of the roaring fire.
"The scent of Cinnamon potpourri wafts from room to room and down the hall, vying for the attention of your sense of smell. We're having Fresh baked Virginia Ham, yams, fresh cut green beans and warmed White wine for dinner... so don't fill up on the goodies now. Dinner will be ready to eat in about 35 minutes.
Once again... I bid you
Spirit will be joining us in a little while... just in time for dinner."
