Lets find some different ways to describe breast size!!!

I am so tired of reading about people's breasts being described just by a measurement and cup size!!

So i started a thread, the only requirement is if you use fruit, it better be a creative one, same thing for sports equipment.

Her breasts were just large enough that the soft curve where they met her ribs turned to a small fold as my tongue slid along under them. Little red teeth marks showed out against the creamy slope of her upper chest

Describing boobs is something that I never thought was actually necessary. If the character is properly developed, the reader will form their own mental picture.

If I say "Andrea is a petite brunette," you immediately form an image of Andrea to fit my statement. If I change it to "Andrea, a large breasted but petite brunette," you now have a different picture of her form.

Unless her actual shape is important to the story, other than impressing the reader with her looks, there is little reason to overly describe the actual appearance of the character and in fact it is somewhat distracting to readers who do not share the same picture of an ideal woman.

Back to Boobs:


Andrea my cousin has the most perfect boobs imaginable. She fills a shirt to perfection and I have often dreamed of my hands on those wonderful breasts.

This allows the reader to form their own image of a perfect breast without dropping numbers (although using the adjective 'perfect' twice in one paragraph is a sin also).

If you are chronicling a wet t-shirt contest or writing about the breasts of multiple women, some size reference is probably necessary, but the bra size reference still does little. "Andrea removed her shirt revealing boobs slightly smaller but just as nice as Melody's." A point of reference and a comparison. If the reader has an image of Melody s/he has one of Andrea now without need to throw out additional description.

I agree with you, i try to avoid mesurments of all kinds in my stories, i do like to drop hints sometimes about what a person looks like. And there is that moment sometimes when you look at a lover and just drink in every detail of their body, so sometimes i get into it there.

Seeing as how both of my stories on lit are written from the womans angle, it seems even weirder. Although now that i think about it, i might have used a cup size in one of them

Her breasts just filled my hands as I nuzzled the back of her neck.

I scooped my hands under her breasts feeling their weight while raining kisses on the nape of her neck.

"What's she look like?" Tom asked nervously about the girl Dick was proposing he agree to going on a blind date with.

"June? Well, she's big, like you Tom. Not fat, but tall, and big boned. She has big tits, too - easily would pass the pencil test."

"Pencil test?"

"Yeah, you know: They hang down low enough that if she stands up straight an puts a pencil under one of them it won't fall down."

From my understanding, the pencil test is about seeing if you sag too much. If the pencil stays: You Failed.

why not descibe it from the baby's angle?
May be its scent,its taste,not just size!
