I wasn't sure if anybody had already done one of these...but I figure it couldn't hurt to start a new one or start one period. I just got my first tattoo yesterday, and I figured who better to share it with, right?

well here it is, I got this as my first tattoo because:

1) as any Harry Potter fan will notice, this is the "Dark Mark" or the sign for the followers of Lord Voldermort

2) this tatto just looks bitchin, period! :D

nice tat no idea about harry potter but its looks good welcome to lit

I think I may get another one eventually...gonna let this one heal first though ;) the guy said the bruising could take about 4-5 months to go down because of the location of the tattoo

In my personal experience the bruised feeling heals after around 2 weeks in most cases, I bet you will be gagging for more within the next 12 months lol
:nana:

Red_flame; The most painful I have experienced was on my side, but not totally unbearable, I reckon you should go for it! :nana:

that is what my step-father (he went with me because he knew they guy who was gonna do the tattoo) said about it...the pain becomes sorta addicting.

you should post some photos of yours...I'll do a side by side one once it starts to heal a bit more

I'll try and get some from the collection for you, My main tattooist said (as a pun) he used to put cocaine in the needles cos we all came back for another 'fix' hehe, I was convinced after my first I was happy with it and didnt need another.... 6 months later I went back, it was roughly one a year after that, for a few years lol
 :D

will be good to see it once its healed hope fully others will post pics of theres :D

younger gf.....

I have a tatoo of a smiling sun on my right butt cheek as a result of dating a women 19 years younger than I. We both got our butts tatooed.

Loser? NO (unless you count that last trip to Vegas...)

Low self esteem? NO (not even when that bitch poured a drink on me last night)

Deep-rooted Psych Problems? HELL YES!!

Do I qualify for a tatt?

12 mo. to heal ???
only if you're a diabetic maybe ...
That one will be good to go in 4 weeks easy ..
looks good . Piercings go much deeper obviously
andmost are fully healed in a month or so ,
depending on care .
Theres been about a bazillion threads
here with tats and piercings , another one cant hurt .
I'll share a pic , although I have too many to
even count anymore .

Chainz

Just weighing in on the tattoo debate. I don't think they're necessarily just for losers, but I think that the natural beauty of a nude woman is far beyond anything that a tattoo can add. Just my take on the matter of tats on the ladies.

well...I may take one in about a month or so as a follow up to it, but it won't be compleatly healed because of the location and the nature of my job for about 4-5 months

I am a big baby...I can't seem to get up the nerve to get some....

you know what sugar ;) it really doesn't hurt as bad as you would think when you get it done. it's a bit sore for a while after and it was killing me at work this morning but that is because I was doing a crapload of lifting.

maybe I will drag you in with me in a few months when I go back to show they guy who did this for me when the bruises dissapear. this guy hates needles and he got them...I think you could deal with it :)

yes ...
and with your creative talents ,
you should draw up your own
design , for a one off piece .

sometimes though, you don't want to get to intricate though with the artwork because for them to duplicate it they have to increase it big time. mine had to be increased by 30% from the photo I gave him

he also said that alot of times people go through all this crazy work to create one, and 3 months after they finish it, it's in a tattoo magazine and everybody ends up with it
