No kidding?

I make fun of them because they drop the "Wi" part of it. I ask them why they just don't drop the letters and make it official. :)

I don't drop them... but I do know we say Muhwaukee and Ruacine instead of Milwaukee and Racine.

I say it both ways. Someone told me yesterday that I have a Jersey accent. I thought that was pretty funny being born and raised in Wisconsin. My mother is from Jersey so I must have picked something up somewhere.

That's possible. My Dad is from West Virginia and I have a bit of a twang that folks around here just don't have.

<------Soon to be Wisconsonite.

I don't like that word, though, makes me feel like a piece of luggage.

LOL.

My father is from Denmark and my mother from Jersey... so I am the pure Wisconsin one :)

My best friend lives in Wisconsin. But I wouldn't want to live there. It's too damn cold and boring.
