i live 4 streets away from where i work. i'm unable to walk to work, because i have no cartilage in my hips, and although i can walk there (downhill), i can't get back up the hill after work!
using the car is costing me far too much - almost $15/day just in parking fees!
not forgetting that to get to work, i have to drive 9 streets (because of the one-way's) before i get to the parking anyway, adding heaps to the trip.
add petrol, insurance, etc., and it's an expensive way to go a km and a half each day!
so i have solved my problems by purchasing one of these
should be here tomorrow.
no license required, no petrol to worry about, no parking fees to stress about paying (i can park this in the storeroom at work!)
ok, ok, so it's not exactly the 'coolest' thing to get around on - but hey! i'm getting flames airbrushed on the sides, and i'm taking the poncy basket off the front asap.
i can't wait for it to get here!
