Does anyone want to write some articles/poems or do illustrations on life, death or the afterlife?

No money in it I'm afraid, just for the joy of it at this stage - and perhaps having your name up in lights. This is a new website given to me. All I know is that it's mambo or something. I don't even know how to change the polls yet [yes, I do know how to find the admin area! :D].

It depends what you want and for when :) It's my kind of subject and I'm happy to do something...but more details would be helpful so I can work out if I've got time to do it :)

I forgot to add - photos, stories etc basically whatever.

What - The theme is "life, death and the afterlife". It is as broad as that. Basically your thoughts or ideas on some aspect of that.

When - it can be posted pretty much immediately.

People can vote and send you feedbac.

Sounds interresting. If I think of something, I'll let you know. Have fun at work, if that's an option.

Site looks good and you can still smell the fresh paint! When you say 'stories' do you mean fiction or non-fiction and are they allowed to be challenging (within reason)?

I've got a story here at Lit that might be suitable, if you want it. It's centred around a kind of spiritual ritual at Stonehenge and involves a death and a little of what it's like in the afterlife for that person. It's Zodiac Girls Ch. 12 - Sagittarius. Let me know what you think.

My dad bought the website for me for $20 and I am still pretty clueless! I hate brown though! I want to change to midnight blue or something.

I think the person who designed it had it in mind to do articles and news. I don't want to limit myself to just those.

Elfin - fiction or non-fiction is great. Be as challenging/controversial as you want. I want a whole broad spectrum of thoughts and ideas, not something narrow and square.

Lou - you are a darling, I'll check it out tonight!

Liar - work is fun, would you believe! I'm a little miss bossy boots in her element :D

Cant - I hear a but coming...:D

EL -

I know a couple of you have sites, so you will have to give me some tips!

Wishful, my new story "The Warrior's Song" deals with spirituality from a Native American perspective. Not sure if it's what you're looking for, but I'd be willing to share if it is.

Yes! That story is brilliant, would be great for the site.

Wishful: cool!

I have my own site, but at the mo it's a flat site. However, I've been working with Mambo recently and have been trying to get a look that works for me. Loads of tweaking going on and I've customised a lot of it. If you want any tips on working with it and getting it to do what you want, give me a shout.

That story's near and dear to me, and you don't know how much it means to know that you liked it so well.

I loved that one, cloudy. I feel very out of my depth reading it, but the universals bring me back. Very sweet work.

Thank you ! I didn't even know you had read it. :rose:

I didn't feel quite qualified to say, and it was late. I just posted to a thread that your new one was worth the read and then slept. But I dug it. Is it for the Magic thing?

Wishful, Mambo is the software engine behind your site. ;) It's a package that was uploaded to the server and has been customised. Look at the bottom of the pages on your site, you'll see the "Mambo" license. Click on the word Mambo and you'll go to the Mambo site. That will help you find out a lot more about what you can do with your site. :)
