Sometimes her posts are so... basic and ill-constructed, other times she writes like a philosopher.

I think she may have someone 'editing her work'

Also, I haven't been arsed to look but do pictures of this so-called 'trophy girl' exist on this site??

I'm curious as to what she looks like.

She writes good thread titles, and one opens them with alacrity and high expectation. Then it turns out to be yet another restatement of her basic theme, with which one is thoroughly familiar and by which one is completely bored. One is then faced with the choice of being irritated with oneself for forgetting that this has been the case the last twenty time one opened a thread of hers, or being irritated with her for posting. What Gurdjieff called "the instinct for self calming" dictates that faced with that choice, homo sapiens will choose to blame "the other". Then, having made this shabby choice, one defends it with a vigour proportionate to its absurdity.

Thanks for the plaudits. Even a short post like that requires some pondering to settle one's thoughts, a while to write, and another expenditure of energy and time to polish. It's nice to know that someone notices and derives pleasure from the result.

I have to admit that I didn't remember Eddie Haskell, even though I can remember watching Leave It To Beaver back in the day. Once over lightly with Google causes me to form the impression that "in a syncophantic manner" would be a synonym for "in an Eddie Haskell kind of way", but are there other subtleties and levels of meaning implied here that I am missing through an inadequate study of the character?
