Okay people, listen up ..... anybody who knows me on Lit will already know that I am the shy, retiring sort who gets all flustered if a girl even winks at me ......
But ..... there have been occasions, when the general reparteé on a thread starts to get a bit hot and steamy between two people and before you know it, they're getting down and getting dirty, which sometimes can be a little disconcerting for non-participating singles who have just stopped by for a little posting on that thread ......
So ..... I am officially opening The Blue Room (yes, there are connotations there ....), a quiet place, with a key on the inside of the door, there's a couch, a bed, a table and chairs, a warm fire if necessary, hi-fi for mood music, subdued lighting if required ...... a well-stocked mini-bar and no restrictions on length of stay ..... so if YOU are getting a bit hot under the collar on the Word Association thread and want to say sod the games, let's get down to it, baby ...... here's the place for you!
The only rule ..... when you visit, if it's occupied, leave 'em in peace, eh?
Of course, lurking is positively encouraged .....
Let the festivities commence ..... of course, if no-one is brave enough to be the first to test the room, I might have to be bullied by some strange over-sexed woman into doing the honours .....
