What a great way to start. I immediately lost my first two pages. Great!

Off to bed now, done the first 1000 words.

2245 words, and the quality is pretty much what I expected it to be when I write under pressure. The narration is erratic, but the dialouge is sharp.

Basically, the first half of it was a bit dull, but then the muse got her heat up and started delivering the wit, as I went from character introduction to character interaction.

Note to self, write more dialouge.

Going to bed now. There's a day tomorrow too, with a few spare hours in the afternoon. I plan to end those 24 hours on at least 4000 words, just to feel that the pressure isn't as humongous the rest of the week.

And I still have no idea where this story will go.

I dunno 'bout that...I had to wait until almost 830 to get started. Thought I'd be writing almost on getting home from work, but needed to get some housework taken care of first, then walk a kid to the bus...but...it's started. <g> <doing happy dance>
