I have been thinking that we do have lots of threads about news stories. It might be a good idea to have them on one thread, it is easier to find them back.

Ohhh this made me think of something that just happened....(hope no one considers it beastiality...) In any case as it happens a couple of weeks ago I was laying on my belly on my bed. My cat was laying across the bed and our heads were fairly close together and I said "Tyler, give me a kiss." And he actually leaned his head towards me and I kissed the top of his head. I thought "oh, how cute, I'll train him to give me a kiss when I ask for one."

So, a couple of more times I said "Give me a kiss." and sure nuff, again, he leaned his head forward (i'm sure he was just responding to my voice) again, and let me kiss the top of his head. Ahhh but the fourth time, he sort of looked at me...and then bit the heck out of my bottom lip. He either got really bored, was tired of the sound of my voice, or thought i was a horrible kisser.

Ok, truly I've always thought he was a bit of a dom, but this pain was not fun....and it is still not totally healed. Just saying careful what you wish for, you might get more than you bargained for. I know i did. LOL :catroar:

Interesting... a government legalizes both homosexuality and bestialty at the same time. Second class citizens unite.

It's been amazing how many conversations I have been pulled into as non-obvious lesbian, with the same sex marriages and civil disobedience going on here in SF. Boy, do I get a lot of insider straight info that makes no sense utterly!

Of course, let's ignore that relatively 10% of the population grows up gay or lesbian with or without knowledge in a completely heterosexual-based society. If same-sex marriages are allowed EVERYONE will go GAY.

Must be the same thing with pet loving. ;)

LONDON (Reuters) - Although the risk is small and it is more likely to result from heavy drinking and smoking, scientists have uncovered evidence that oral sex can cause mouth cancer.

Researchers had suspected that a sexually transmitted infection that is linked to cervical cancer could also be associated with tumors in the mouth.


Now a study by researchers working for the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) in Lyon, France seems to have confirmed it.


"Oral sex can lead to oral tumors," New Scientist magazine said Wednesday, referring to the latest research.


The scientists studied more than 1,600 patients from Europe, Canada, Australia, Cuba and the Sudan with oral cancer and more than 1,700 healthy people.


They found that patients with oral cancer containing a strain of the human papilloma virus (HPV) known as HPV16 were three times more likely to report having had oral sex than those without the virus strain.


"The researchers think both cunnilingus and fellatio can infect people's mouths," the magazine added.


Raphael Viscidi, a virologist who worked on the research, believes the findings substantiate the link between HPV and oral cancer.


"This is a major study in terms of size," he said. "I think this will convince people."


High consumptions of alcohol and cigarettes are estimated to cause 75-90 percent of all cases of oral cancer. The combination of tobacco smoke and alcohol are thought to produce high levels of cancer causing agents.


Scientists are currently working on vaccines to prevent cervical cancer, which is more common, but they might also be effective against oral cancer.


"It is thought the vaccines would prevent oral infections as well," the magazine added.

LOL, well I forgot to let them know I was no longer there etc., so I'm thinking I will use the same excuse and when they see we live in Holland, they think of the Red Light District and all the sex and sin tales of Amsterdam, they might just believe me!! It's unclear to me whether he's worrying or bragging about his study size. But he sounds like the sort of guy who would expect us to quote the whole thing regardless of how big it was.

Is getting huge coverage in Europe, and unlike what I am used to, people have taken to the streets in thousands demanding justice and to know how it could happen in their country.

Yeah, I was reading the part about the cover up/failure to resolve the issue by the authorities and how all those people marched in silent protest. Too often, here in the US, people turn a blind eye even in extreme cases like this. So sad.

And then there are those who see what this man did and see he had a "dungeon" and then they see/hear about a BDSM dungeon or a SSC act by someone in the lifestyle and immediately make a connection, not stopping to see that what this man did would not fit into any category here (especially given the age of his victims).
