Today, the discussion is around a wealth transfer of $70,000 per slave descendent.

That’s a Dodge Ram 1500 Warlock or thereabouts.

Is this an idea whose time has come, or racism hiding in plain sight?
 
In Canada, natives have a sweet cradle to grave package of land, tax free status, unlimited hunting and fishing rights, private residential schools, the works.

And you only need a tiny bit of native in your family tree, like great grandparent 1/6 or something.

I think we can concur it will be the non-participants.

As an alternative how about this. "Any head of household and citizen the United States that can prove that one of their patrilineal ancestors were being held in bondage by a citizen of the United States on April 12, 1861, will be given a $70,000, non-transferable, tax credit to be held and used by the awardee only."

That should do it.

Statistically it will all be gone within a year.

Also you misunderstand, a tax credit isn't cash. In order to use a tax credit you have to have taxable income which means going out and earning some taxable money. If you're already on the dole you ain't getting shit.

1/8th is the cut off now it seems ( based upon first hand knowledge of a recent status decision). I honestly am not sure what is written down in the policy with Indian Affairs.
