Ok this is a thread for a game i am starting called Avengers.
This is a marvel based superhero game, and i am wondering who wants to take part.

Ok there is 2 rules....

1. Only Marvel Characters (i.e. X-men, Avengers, Spiderman, Blade, Punisher, Hulk Ect.)

2. No gods. So Thor is out of the question. this reason will be developed on later in the game.

Ok, So first things first, I choose Dr. Hank McCoy, Aka, The Beast.

I dont want thousansd of characters, about 8 good guys, and 2 people to play the parts of various villians (rather than sticking with just 2), with no doubling up.

hm.....i might consider this....i have a few profiles that could be used. i'll have to go see exactly what i have
 
Um if you're pulling Thor's plug, Hulk's a good idea to cut too. Since well he's even stronger than Thor.

I'll give serious thoughts to Daniel Rand (Iron Fist ). Do we have to be Actual Avengers, or since you mentioned Frank do we have essential Carte blanche to do whoever?
 
I'd be intersted in joining.

I usually play females. Marvel female heros are limited. Not real familiar with xmen. Were does wonder woman fall in this? I know she's fairly lame but as I said not many female heros to choose from.

she would be DC....however, Rogue has most of the same powers, plus the ability to drain people's life force/mutant powers with skin contact. there are others, of course
 
would like to play. if you are okay with newbies. would play as spider-woman if thats okay?

Marvel female heroes rock. And possess most of teh real god shattering level powers.

Moondragon, Storm, She-Hulk, Rogue, Ms. Marvel. I can go on.
 
ok, the reason that Thor is not allowed is becuase the gods have a larger role in this later on, and as such Hercules is not allowed either.

i have also decided that the following characters are NOT allowed to be used, as they also play a large part later on as NPC's

Adam Strange/Hulk/Nick Fury/Iron Man/Wolverine

Any character can go, as i intend this to be a non-canonical version.

These are characters i am hoping some people choose. but remember feel free to be who you want.

Occupation: Genetic Scientist / Superhero
Identity: Well Known as a Mutant.
Affiliations: X-Men, Avengers.
Powers: Extremely agile, with acute senses and increased strength and toughness.
Weakness: Most as normal Humans.
Appearance: Tall with blue fur and long blue hair and glasses.
Weapons: Bo staff.
 
i could probably pull off Vision....dunno about Nightcrawler....also, you might want to put War Machine on the NPC list as well.
 
aw now I have to get in on this, I could pull off two people if there isnt a rule, Rogue and Jean Grey are my two favorite xmen hehe im trying to learn more with marvel characters, but what can I say :)
 
I'm going to suspend my applying for Nocturne in favor of Greer Nelson aka. Tigra. As before if you think she'll owrk I'll post the bio with my own twisted little twist on her:).
 
ok, wyldfire, its up to you whether you choose nocturne of tigra, like i say its up to you who you character is.

Mayu, i would prefer you to choose only one, and truth be told i dont really want jean grey being played as i intend to use her at one point in the story line. So basically i'd prefer for you to be rogue if thats ok.

Spider-Woman
Name: Jessica Drew
Age: Looks 25. Is much older, but her ageing process has tremendously slowed down due to her super-powers
Occupation: Private Investigator
Identity: Known as a Private Investigator
Affiliations: Avengers.

Powers: Superhuman strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes, senses and durability, Ability to adhere to walls through bio-electric attraction,Ability to shoot beams of bio-electric energy from her hands, Develops immunity to all poisons and radiations, flight.

Weakness: Susceptible to most things human are susceptible to on first exposure. After that, her body develops immunity towards that. So any new poisons, radiations etc. cause damage. She lost most of her super-powers once due to radiations. Has also lost to a powerful mage once, again losing almost all her super-powers. Her body also generates pheromones that make men sexually attracted towards her, while repelling women. She needs to wear a perfume which suppresses these effects to carry on with her everyday life in a normal manner. This was also her only "super-power" that was not lost on both the occassions that she lost all her other powers on.

Appearance: 5'10" tall, 130lbs, Green eyes and Black hair, and beautiful. Costumed as the spider-woman to hide her identity.

Weapons: None. Relies on bio-electric beams that she can shoot as her only weapon.

Name: Daniel Thomas Rand-Kai
Age: 29
Occupation: Corporate Owner / Superhero
Identity: Secret
Affiliations: Defenders, Avengers.
Powers: Slightly Faster Stronger and Tougher than a normal man his size by manipulation of internal energies. By focusing his Body's "chi" he can project the total energy of his body into his fist for one strike. This leaves him drained and unable to charge for a while.

Daniel is also one of the Top tier's of Martial Artists and Unarmed Combatants in the Marvel Universe, On Par with Deadpool, or Elektra and just under Wolverine and Captain America.
Weakness: Most as normal humans.
Appearance: Daniel is 5'11 or so, and while muscled is whipcord thin. There is a Dragon burned into his chest, that resembles a tattoo.
Weapons: While trained he uses none.

Do you need a self made Bio? And do you prefer I play a villan instead? Since we'll need one and I don't mind losing in the end.

name: Ann jones... 5' 4" about 110 lbs, black hair.
Manager. she takes great care not to get truely deeply angry deyond reason.

She had been a chemist trying to tap into the hidden strengths poeple have. They had been preparing to inject a goat and there had been an accisdent and she had been injected instead.

Now if she is in great pain or very angry she is transformed. As long as she remains in that form little harm can be done to her by normal means.

When she returns to human she is very weak and sometime injured.

(dont know if this is the correct way for her to bacome she-hulk or if this is how or why she changes. If my errors are too great let me know and ill edit.)
 
okay, i suppose i should get to work on that vision bio tomorrow morning....i'd work on it now, but i think it would take me too long, and i'm distracted by House of Flying Daggers
