I remember it crystal clear, as it was the most memorable night in my life. Having said that, let me say that it wasn't 'the most memorable' in a good way. It could be taken either way, really. Anyway, it was a cold December night, first Saturday of the month, and I'd just gotten off work. That's where it all started. I was ready to go home and do some surfing on the internet then conk out for twelve hours, but then I got the news.
I found out that I had absolutely no ride home. My house was tens of miles from where I worked and I usuauly drove to and fro, but my car had kicked the bucket the day before after my idiot friend, Denny, crashed it while we were out. I banged up my right arm pretty bad too, my own fault for letting him drive. So anyway, with my car down for the count, I had gotten a ride to work on Saturday from my mom before she went on a business trip to the west coast. I remember what she said to me so clearly it's annoying. "Don't forget to set up a ride to get back home," she said before driving off.
I should've listened to her, I had plenty of time to do it. But, of course, it slipped my mind once I got working. So here I was, standing outside Electronics For Life, the place that I worked, with no ride whatsoever. I weeded through the options I had, which I came to realize was none before long. Car, dead, Mom, other side of the country, Denny, no way in hell. It hit me like my car hit that tree when it crashed. . .
. . . I was stranded.
Keeping my cool, barely might I add, I let out a deep sigh and watched my breath dance away into the cold night. A flustered mess, I cracked my back and with a determined glint in my eyes, I said, "Fuck it, I'll walk." That was the second big mistake I made that night. I started walking down the lonely city sidewalk, huddling into my navy blue sweatshirt as I went. It was eerily quiet that night, no one was out or even sitting out on the stoops smoking or anything. I kept walking, shifting my right arm once in a while, until suddenly I heard footsteps walking behind me. At first, I didn't give a damn, I just assumed it was some random person taking a stroll or walking to the liquor store a few blocks up. A few minutes later, the footsteps started getting closer at an increasing pace. They got so close I could've swore someone was walking two inches behind me. Being a daredevil, I hopped to the side, up against a street light and looked back the way I was coming from. Only to see no one there at all, just an empty sidewalk and a discarded newspaper rolling off the street.
I took in a deep breath and let out a ragged sigh, grabbing onto my right arm after I just accidently hit it aginst the street light. Swearing through clenched teeth, I cautiously resumed my journey home. It was about a few mintues later than I heard another set of footsteps behind me again. Tugging on my injured arm nervously, I increased my walking speed ever so slightly. But then the footsteps sped up too. "Shit, must be a mugger," I snarled in thought. But as I thought this, I felt a hand clasp down tightly on my right arm. If it hadn't been for the injury I got the day before, I would've spun around and cleaned this person's clock, whoever it was. But given the circumstances, I was easily brought to my knees from the pain that went searing through my arm. I cried out in anguish as I weakly, and desperately, tried to pry the stranger's death grip from my arm. Right then, I felt something solid and heavy smash into the back of my head, might've been a brick or maybe just a boot. Either way, I fell forward onto my stomach, my body limp and my gaze staring down at the pavement. I lost consciousness a few seconds later.
I have no idea how long I was out, but as I came to, I soon realized that I wasn't where I was before. My eyes adjusted slowly to my surroundings as I sat up off the floor. I was in some kind of room, it was pretty dark but I could see some light leaking in through from under a supposed door. I patted myself down to see if anything was missing, just my sweatshirt and my boots were MIA apparently. Now all I was left with was my wallet, my cheap knock-off Punisher shirt, and my favorite pair of jeans. I heaved a heavy sigh and hunched forward, attempting to stand up. But as I got to my feet, I felt a hand push against my back and shove me down onto the floor again. I lost balance pretty easily and even fell onto my injured right arm. I let out a yelp of pain as I hit the ground; it felt like a spike just rammed itself into my arm. I swore violently in anger, clenching my teeth and writhing on the floor.
"Shut up," a voice suddenly snapped out from the darkness. I then felt a hand grabbing onto my shirt collar and forcing me to my feet. "Who the fuck are you?!" I asked curtly. The mysterious person proceed to slap me across the face. To me, it felt like a frying pan. I was thrown for a loop and limply collapsed to the floor and passed out again.
Eventually, after who knows how long, I started coming to. But this time I could hear voices, two of them to be exact, that I didn't recognize. But I could at least tell they were female. The floor was... soft? No, I wasn't on the floor anymore. Maybe it was a couch or a bed... Anyway, I decided to be sneaky and listen in on the conversation between the two women.
"It's so cute! Where'd you find it?" the first voice asked, presumably to the second voice.
"Somewhere...It was injured, so it went down easy," the second voice said in reply.
"Can I keep this one? I really like it!"
"I got it for you anyway. Enjoy yourself, just don't kill this one so quickly like all the others. Ones of this quality are damn hard to come by."
The first voice cheered happily in response. I had no clue what the hell they were talking about. Either way, I heard a door open and a set of feet walk out of the room before the door presumably slid shut.
There was dead silence lingering in the air. Was I alone in the room? Did both women actually leave? I decided to risk it and open my eyes. Above me was...a ceiling and I was indeed laying on a bed. Yeah, I know, anti-climactic. Either way, I tried to sit up next but I was suddenly forced back onto the soft bed covers. I looked up towards my captor and saw a blue-haired beauty whimsically staring down at me.
"Nuh uh uh! You're not going anywhere until I take you for a test ride," she chirped.
To put it frankly, she was stark naked and sitting on my lap. She had wavy blue hair that matched the color of her youthful eyes. She was blessed with nice curves, a large pair of breasts and shapely hips. I got hard by just looking at her once.
"H-Huh? What the hell?!" was all I could manage to say. And despite having a gorgeous naked woman sitting on me, something in the pit of my stomach told me to get out of there. I pushed her off of me and jumped off the bed, making a mad dash for the door. I didn't care if I didn't have any shoes, I was on the run.
I reached the door in no time and barged right through it. Next thing I knew, I was running through some jungle...
Nate was running for his life, but he wasn't sure why. Something didn't seem right about the whole thing. "Why am I even running? Where am I even going?" he thought in his head.
Now he could hear several beings chasing after him and gaining quickly. The second phase of the hunt was just beginning.
