The Loveless Inn/Tavern II. {IC}

The Loveless Inn/Tavern is a place on another world. This world has a spaceport but it's technology level otherwise is that of modern day Earth.

Before Mankind or any other race settled this world it had an elder race. This race had a Goddess of Love. But sentients being as they are there are always unbelievers. In one instance several men found this Goddess and they attacked her. The Goddess was raped by these men but this ended up a double edged sword for them. This was indeed a Goddess of Love and as the mens' passions rose they were driven into a fever pitch by the Goddess. In the end the Goddess and her attackers died. However this infused into the very ground the event occured on with an aura of Lust and Passion. Anyone wandering onto this ground would be affected.

When the Humans and other races colonized this world a man and his wife built the Loveless Tavern/Inn on the site. They didn't realize what they had done. Over the years the Loveless Inn/Tavern has changed hands several times. The last inheritor had been overtaken by the aura of the Inn and after an event under the influence of the Inn he fled the site and made legal arrangements passing the Inn on to the one servant the Inn had.

Maria pulled the car into the parking lot. The catgirl maid led Lynn back into the Inn and helped her get Lynn's luggage to her room.

"There we go Senorina Lynn. This is your room," Maria said, "I hope you find it satisfactory."

The familiar feeling of the Loveless Inn had seeped back like feeling the heat of a hot tub sink into the skin. After working here as long as she had she could keep the sensations mostly under her control. She couldn't help letting a small pur out.

But that feeling suddenly wasn't as pleasurable as usual. Maria had forgotten that the two newest members of the staff were due to arrive soon. The Tavern had suffered for a while considering the comnbination of the sight and alcohol made it hard to maintain a staff for it.

Feeling the tug of the Inn again she looked over to Lynn and asked "Senorina Lynn, this has been a hectic evening and I am technically off shift. Would you care to join me down in the Tavern for a drink or two?"

Lynn smiled at Maria as she showed her the room. It was spacous and sunny, a very cheerful room. She walked to the window and as she did she could feel that strange tingling feeling between her legs again. It was getting annoying, a sound of annoyance came from her mouth as she clucked her tongue. She realized Maria would probably wonder what was wrong and quickly turned and answered her question.

"I would love to have a drink with you, Maria, Oh should I change my dress, you probably want it back now, don't you"

Lynn walked back to Maria, her hips swaying gracefully.

"The dress? Oh, that. No Senorina Lynn you keep that dress as what I will hope will be pleasant memories of your time here." Maria said to her, noting the change in walks. Lynn was starting to feel that blessed effect again. The longer you were around the Inn the more it's influence became a part of you. Nine years was a long time. Maria only allowed herself to succumb to it on occasion but Lynn was starting to smell good. And look good.

As Lynn reached her accepting the offer Maria reached out and took her hand and led her out the door. She felt good to Maria's touch as well. Maybe Lynn needs to be here she though to herself but said aloud with a bit of a purr "Shall we then?"

Lynn smiled as Maria said she could keep the dress. She did not want for some reason to refuse the gift as she would usually do.

"You're welcome Lynn, it is my pleasure." Maria purred as she led the woman to a set of double doors. She quickly reached down into her cleavage and pulled out a key. She unlocked the doors and opened one of them for Lynn.

"The Tavern is late in being opened. And this is the first day for a couple of employees. They should be here any time. " She said as she walked into the Tavern and went to another door, unlocking it.

The woman then went and ducked under the bar and up behind it. "What would you like to drink Lynn?"

Afro had traveled these lands for many years, ever since his banishment to wherever this place was by the evil sorcerer Jollan. In his travels he had seen things that had turned his view of reality upon its head, though eventually he came to accept the unreal as real within this place. Traveling through the heavens in boats with no sails, creatures that were at once both man and beast, he had spanned the planet in his wanderings, helping where he could, fighting those who would challenge him, searching for a mean back to his own time at first, but then gradually coming to see this planet and time as his home.

In his travels he had come upon the Loveless tavern, and something about the place always seemed to draw him back. He had always found himself thinking about the place as he wandered the high mountain peaks or the deep searing valleys of the world, and often found, almost subconsciously, that his travels would bring him on a path that would allow him to stop in the small tavern for a meal and bedding for the night.

And so it was again he found himself outside the place, smiling at the feeling that filled him, thinking it was some spiritual connection, not really understanding the power the tavern had over a man’s heart. He had passed through here but a few days ago, saw the sign for employment and had decided perhaps it was time for his wandering to end. This was clearly the place for him. With his special skill set he’d had very little trouble procuring employment.

Now he ran his hand through his trademark hair, sword clanging off his hip as he walked up to the tavern’s entrance, slipping inside, looking around for someone who would help him start this new chapter in his life…

The large man entered running a hand through his hair. A lot of hair. This was the new bouncer for the Tavern. Maria had been told of this new employee by the new owner of the Inn and Tavern. She was to let him know his responsibilities and to let him know that there was a small place for him to stay if he needed one.

"Excuse me for a moment please Lynn," Maria said, "Afro? So you have decided to stop wandering and come to nest here have you?" Maria said with a smile. She liked this man. He was an occasional ******t here and had chosen to settle.

Afro set down the one bag he had brought with him to the place as he looked around the tavern. Very little had changed since the last time he had passed through her, though this time no one was chasing after him for a bounty on his head, and that was a pleasant change.

He felt the place seeping into him as soon as he entered the doors, his normally stoic quiet behavior melting away slightly, leaving him with a deep feeling of contentment as he gazed around at the worn wood. He would enjoy working here he knew, he just prayed that the contentment he gained from being on the grounds would not detract from his skills as swordsman.

A rare smile crossed his face as he saw the cat lady sauntering over to greet him. He recognized Maria from the last couple of visits he had made to the place, and he doubted he would soon be forgotten either as he had made quite a mess out of the small place in a brawl with three hired thugs. Still he had stayed on and helped repair all the damage before moving on, so he prayed their would be no remaining ire against him.

He nodded an affirmation to her statement. "Yes, I have been all over these wondrous lands you call home and have found no place that better suits me than within these four walls."

"Please, feel free to put your baggage in that closet there," She twitched her tail towards a closet door, "I'm happy to see that you chose to stay here. I have someone I would like you to meet. Afro, please say hello to Lynn. She's one of our guests."

Afro nodded and walked to the small closet, depositing his bag inside it. There was really no important luggage in it, just a few spare kimono's and his shoes which he had removed at the door. Everything important to the man he wore on his person, his powerful katana and wakizashi, his daisho if you will, and the headband his wore wore into combat.

He approached the woman that Maria had introduced him to and bowed low, a sign of respect before looking up and meeting her eyes. "Greetings." He said in a low voice, another rare smile, becoming more common as the atmosphere of the inn seeped into him, shine across his face. "It is an honor and a pleasure to meet you."

Lynn turned around and leaned against the bar as she watched Maria greet a man. And what a man he was, he was huge. Lynn's eyes traveled down his body, she felt that tingle again, and pulled her eyes away. She wondered what was getting into her, she never looked at man like that. She listened and watched Maria and the huge man talking.

She was about to turn away when she heard Maria say her name. By the time it registered that Maria was introducing her to the man, he was right there in front of her. She felt the tingle move about her body as he stood in front of her and bowed, smiled and spoke to her. She gave herself a mental shake and extended her hand to him.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Afro. Afro, a very uncommon name for a most uncommon man"

After Lynn said it, she did not believe her own ears, was she flirting with a complete stranger, she who made believe men did not exist. She smiled at him hoping to find some kind of control over herself.

"Maria, may I buy Afro a drink, after all technically he isn't on duty, am I right"

Maria watched Lynn flirt and almost giggled when she made the request to buy the new bouncer a drink "Of course you may Lynn. But I think after this drink I should escort you to your room. I think you and I need to finish a discusion about the Inn."

She got Afro his usual as she remembered it from previous visits and another drink with chocolate liquor and Irish cream liquor. "And what would our Senorina Lynn like?"

Maria realized something in that moment. She wasn't sure if she wanted Lynn around anyone else while she was adapting to the Inn. It was time for Maria to take a moment and reflect on Lynn.

Lynn turned toward Maria as she asked what she would like to drink.

"Do you have a Pepsi"

She turned her head to look at Afro again, he fascinated her. Her eyes ran over his body again. She felt more then a tingle now. Maria's voice came to her from a distance even though she was right there. She blinked her eyes and turned to Maria. It became a hard battle to concentrate on Maria's words.

"I think after this drink I should escort you to your room. I think you and I need to finish a discussion about the Inn."

"A pepsi? Yes Ma'am." Maria said to her noticing the way Lynn was acting. Better that she not add alcohol to what she was already going through.

"As senorina wishes," she said with a little bit of a chill to her voice, "It is only my place to serve."

She poured Lynn a cola from the spigot and put it in front of her on a napkin.

Seri gave a slight puff of a sigh as she came to the door, adjusting the front of her dress before stepping inside. She was trying her best to keep appearances welcoming and friendly- though to keep those type of thoughts rolling seemed to be getting harder and harder. Hopefully the new job would help her get back into the good moods she used to have. Far too depressing to be living in that little apartment with no company, so much time to think about things that had led to her being here....

"Ah, you must be Seri, the new girl," Maria said, "Have you ever bartended? I know we hired you on as a waitress but we are still shy a barkeep. I'm Maria, the maid." She smiled her close lipped smile.

Maria began to walk back to the customer side of the bar. "I hope you don't mind covering this for the time being. I have a habit of making drinks stronger than the customers can drink."

Afro nodded gratefully to the woman and bowed to Maria as she brought him his usual, a simple cup of green tea. Afro choose not to indulge in pleasures such as alcohol, fearing the effect such substances had on his ability to react. He rarely drank, and only when ceremony called for it would he let his guard down enough to enjoy a warm cup of sake.

He frowned slightly as he hoisted himself into the barstool, the odd seating still not feeling entirely comfortable to him. He shifted his swords around to allow himself easy access to the blade if need be, though something inside him said he as safe here. He sipped his tea in silence, watching the interesting interplay of the two women, who were soon joined by a third. Afro bowed low to her as Maria made introductions and then went back to silently drinking.

Lynn drank some of her cola well aware of Afro by her side. She smiled at Maria sensing something was different between them. She wondered what it was as she felt wetness between her legs.

Just as she was about to say something another person entered the bar. Another woman who was going to work here at the inn. Lynn listened to Maria talk to Seri about the job as she moved her legs against each other.

Lynn felt a bit breathless and wondered why as she stoled another look at Afro.

Maria startled. "Afro, I forgot to give you your room key," she pulled a metal box out from under the bar and dug around until she found the key she was looking for. "Your room is right next to the stairs in the basement. If anything is ever amiss with your room feel free to knock on my door. It's the one at the end of the corridor down there."

She took a sip of her cream and chocolate drink. "Seri, do you have lodgings available to yourself? It is one of the perks of working here. If you need a place to stay we provide it."

"How are you doing Lynn? Need a top off?"

Lynn was getting more and more uncomfortable by the minute. She found herself in the need for a man. She shook herself mentally as Maria spoke to her.

"Yes you can give me a little more soda. I'm going to the little girls room for a minute"

Lynn smiled at the two woment and looked hungerly at the man and started to walk to the bathroom. Her hips were swaying suggestively, her body moved fluidly across the room and through the bathroom door. As she went to the bathroom, her need seemed to grow instead of twindling. She took care of her business and then leaned against the wall of the stall.

There was something wrong here, she knew it.

Afro couldn't help but notice the way Lynn stared at him out of the corner of his eye as he sat uncomfortably on the stool. He was used to strange looks from the people of this world, despite the myriad of odd creatures that seemed to come and go from the place he had always stuck out like a sore thumb. Still he had learned his way around this planet despite his disadvantage with his "primitive" technology of his swords. He shrugged off the looks she was giving him and rose, bowing gratefully to Maria as she handed him his room key. He was pleased to know his room would be out of the way, not wanting his sanctuary to be in a high traffic area.

He arched his eyebrow as Lynn rose and sauntered towards the bathroom. Afro rose a moment later, moving to the hall closet to collect his goods. "I'm just going to go check out my room, I shall return momentarily.." He said as he headed towards the basement.

Lynn had an overpowering need to leave the inn and as she exited the bathroom she looked for a way out of it. She roamed down hallways not knowing where she was going but hoping to find a doorway to the outdoors. Her strong logical mind fought constantly now with the funny uncomfortable feelings running through are body.

Her great need to get out turned to panic as she went deeper into the maze of hallways that was this inn.

It was taking Lynn a long time in the rest room. Maria went in to check on her and found the room empty. She had to have wandered off. This could be a bad thing. Lynn wasn't ready to be totally on her own here. Had Maria allowed her jealousy to cause Lynn possible harm? She had to find her and make sure she was okay. But for all she knew Lynn had followed Afro to his room.

Best to try to find her and if Maria found her in Afro's arms she'd slip away and nurse the hurt. She dropped to an all fours run through the halls. To hell with dignity. The short maid's uniform showed quite a bit when she ran this way. These uniforms had been the answer to stopping Maria from what she was currently doing. Back then she'd been so modest she'd never do this.

She bolted through the halls in her search for Lynn.

Sorry so short

A young woman walked into the tavern her ivory skin paired off with her blue hair. Though the woman wore not much to cover herself she moved as if with ease through the tavrn. She was in fact a gothic beauty; the woman glanced about and sat at the bar. A yawn exited her lips as she glanced about looking for fun and other forms of entertainment.

"So what does this place have to offer?"

She spoke softly and yawned again; the beauty had a name and it was Seduction Desire Vixen. Yes truly that was her name.
