In this category, please nominate the female character in a Literotica story who you found to be the sexiest. Please include:

- the character's name
- the title of the story in which she lived
- the author of the story
(a link to the story satisfies the bottom two requirements)

Story must be currently on Literotica, and must have been submitted during the year 2006. One nomination per member, please. If multiple nominations are made by a member, only the first listed will count.

I pick Ella Sanders, from Bane's JC Cheerleader Learns Tough Lesson

Devan is a very fresh take on the innocent virgin captive in the BDSM/abduction story. She is innocent/not innocent in complex and interesting ways. She's also extremely sexy in a very introspective and intellectual way, and she doesn't fall into the classic blonde-with-large-breasts porn heroine meme.

Strongly recommended.

Just to help you out, assuming you mean Zebra Games and not Zebra Games 02

This is the link for that story to satisfy the nominating rules:

http://english.literotica.com/stories/showstory.php?id=265458

If I got it wrong, here's the author page:

http://english.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=573746&page=submissions

If I still got it wrong-you'll have to fix it.

Please do not consider this a second-just trying to help

No nomination here

At the risk of sounding presumptuous, please do not nominate my wife, Dawn. She's won this the last three years and since 2007 is more than likely our last year of doing stories, we prefer to have no nominations in any categories. My guess is it is somewhat of a popularity contest and since she has had a pic thread on Lit, my guess is many of the votes in years past have come as a result of that and promoting the contest(s) on the thread. Since we started in 2001, there are many new writers that do so much better and old fucks like us just prefer to bow out this year. That doesn't mean we don't appreciate the support in the past because we certainly do. Our hats are off to the nominees and eventual winners.

I love the journey the character takes starting off as nick's uncles unknowing toy then becoming a user of the thing that encaptured her. She was definitely the sexiesyt character the way she enjoyed Nick using other women like his uncle had her

Not an endorsement

Not an endorsement - I haven't read the story yet (and mind control is definitely not my kink) - but it's this story here.

I don't think it's necessary for folks to keep adding links for people. The requirements are:

- the character's name
- the title of the story in which she lived
- the author of the story
(a link to the story satisfies the bottom two requirements)

A link is not required, as I read it, it will just fulfill the last two requirements instead of writing it out.

You're probably right although it makes it easy for someone to consider a second if he/she can look at it. Now stop giving me the finger in your AV  :D

Humble apologies...

Sorry! I just went to search for the story myself, and having searched for it I thought I'd make it easier for other people to find it.

I'm finding it interesting looking at female characters other people find sexy - I don't always agree, at all!

And why shouldn’t I nominate the sexy Miss/Mrs. James???

…Even if I am her author

8th Annual Literotica Reader's Choice Special Category Award Nominations:

Sexiest Female Character In A Story

Miss/Mrs. Stephanie James narrator and heroine in Literotica’s most read story of 2006

“Daddy, I whispered” by

scouries

And why should the lovely Stephanie be declared the Reader’s Choice?

*With over 350,000 views her story was the #1 Best Seller of 2006. No other female character’s sexual odyssey has been followed so closely or drawn so much favorable comment from Literotica readers everywhere. The only 2007 Literotica story in the all-time top 300. Buckets of cum have flowed over her.

*With over 6200 votes already cast for her, Miss/Mrs. James and “Daddy, I Whispered”, has received more votes than any other woman in the history of Literotica! Literoticas first and only 6000+ vote story. Ever! And the above figure doesn’t include the other 1000 votes that were swept away in a nefarious plot hatched by the Authors Hangout’s most devious minds last November. (Shit - I wrote the above yesterday when the story had 6212 votes – this a.m. I woke to find another 991 votes stripped from the alluring young vixen – hence Miss/Mrs. James present vote total is 5221-JRS)

*216 readers have posted comments! Americans yes, but also Scots, Brits, Aussies, Canadians, Germans and New Zealanders. Also people from France, India, the Philippines, Belgium, Mallorca, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, and China. Even an American stationed in Serbia and yes, even a reader from Iceland. Another who claimed he/she was from Mars. Arabs galore. Texans. Even a semi-famous kitten.

*Over 700 have sent her e-mails! One from Kazakhstan. Even a former Moonie! A famous camel jockey.

If this is truly a Reader’s Choice award and not a ‘Critics Choice’ or an ‘AH Choice’ or a ‘Laurel and Manu’s Choice’ Award, the winner is clear.

I ask you in advance to please send all the prize money I’ll earn for this category victory, as well as that I’ll earn for my victories in the ‘Most Influential Writer’ and ‘Story of the Year’ categories to the Save the Manatee Club ww.savethemanatee.org

Strangely there have been no confirmed reports of human/manatee mating. In fact most human contact with these lovable sea cows occurs when one of us decides to run over and kill one with a power boat. A record number were slaughtered last year in our beautiful, now blood filled Florida waters.
And so, even though it’s not that easy to have sex with one, they’re still worth saving! Adopt one today.

Jim

You have several factual errors here. The story you site is not one of the highest ranked of all time. See the link:
http://www.literotica.com/stories/category_toplist.php?type=story&page=1

There are many stories from 2006 that are listed in the top 300, most notably those by Evil_Alpaca. There are even some from 2007, but none by you.

Its current score is 4.49, which is okay but nothing to rave about.

The story does have many PC, and most are complimentary, but most of them are from anonymous, which would make their validity dubious. Trolls who thros one-bombs are anonymous. Those who praise a story usually leave their handles or names.

It does have over 350,000 views (not reads), which doesn't really mean all that much. It just means that the story has been clicked on that many times. It would be possible, although unlikely, for one person to click onto it that many times in a period of almost a year.

Generally speaking, when a story by a new author has that many views or that many votes, it looks fishy. It looks as one person, or a group of persons has somehow managed to cast multiple votes, and that is why so many of them have been swept.

Well-we're not taking part in this this year and I haven't read the story but I read this and the opening and ending of the story. This may be tongue in cheek and maybe the beginning and especially the ending of the story were too but I'm not going to second it. I'm not sure I even like manatees for one thing.

A quick reply:

First I made no claim above to be a great writer; instead I simply presented the numbers the story has produced. They are accurate as of yesterday morning and are used to simply argue that Miss/Mrs. James was Literoticas most popular female character with our readers in 2006.

My Dear Boxlicker

When I said my story was in the top 300 of all time I obviously meant for Most Reads of all time. Go to ‘Toplists’ then click ‘Most Read Stories’ and you will find my story at #269 (as of today) on the most read stories in Literotica history. It is one of only two 2006 Literotica stories (not 2007 as I inadvertently typed) in the top 500 all time and the higher ranked of the two. No other story in 2006 was viewed more often! There can be absolutely no argument of this fact. Check yourself.

But of course you’re quite right when you say a ‘view’ doesn’t necessarily mean the story was ‘read’. However my guess is that there is a pretty darn close correlation between ‘views’ and ‘reads’ and that generally a story with more ‘views’ usually gets more ‘reads’ than one with less ‘views’. Like 99.999% of the time!

And if you consider that ‘Daddy, I Whispered’ has at least 100,000 more ‘views’ than all but a handful of 2006 stories, and more than a quarter million more ‘views’ than most, it’s would be hard to argue that some other story had more ‘reads’.

This argument is further augmented in my case by the fact that my story, even after repeated sweeps, still has over 5200 ‘legitimate’ votes, however the authorities define them. No other story has ever received more!

And as I said, the story has also produced over 700 e-mails, and while some are sent anonymously, over 500 included a return e-mail address. And the 200+ comments speaks for itself.

Quite frankly sir I’ll stand by my assertion that no other female Literotica character in 2006 was more popular than Miss/Mrs. James. Don’t pick on her; just send her the prize for Christ’s sake. The numbers don’t lie.

In fact I’d love it if Literotica published the numbers for ‘views’, ‘votes’, ‘average’, and ‘comments’ for every story (Why not? The other site does it and there seems a lot less hostility over there.). Would you? Somehow I don’t think so.

As to you Mr. Lloyd??

I much prefer an honest, anonymous comment than a dishonest, cheap shot from a person who doesn’t have the balls to use his real name, but instead hides behind a convenient alt he pulls out to protect himself.

C’mom buddy!!! Be a man…or a woman if that’s what you are. Fess up. Who are you?????

Mr. Bearlee

Are you saying your wife was a character in a story you wrote? Like your real wife? And she won this award three times? And she posted nude pics of herself to get more views? Are you shitting me?

I’m definitely going to read the first and last paragraphs of a few of your stories man.

JRS

That's not exactly what I said at all. She was in it four times and finished second the first time and first the last three. She did audio stories on the site and was the main character and so I guess that's how she got into the Sexiest Female thing. She has a thread that she hasn't been to for months but no, she didn't post nude pics of herself to increase views. Audios gets tons of clicks regardless.

I didn't read the first and last paragraphs of your stories. I read the intro and the little blurb at the end and today I looked at your profile. Everything is about votes and scores and what I was trying to say is 'who gives a shit' about it. Maybe since you haven't been doing this all that long it's more important to you but I don't even check anymore. I couldn't care less and I don't care about the end of the year contests anymore and don't want to be in them. Last year the prizes were really nice but I just think it's somewhat of a popularity contest.

Now I can tell by what I read at the beginning and ending of the story you're talking about and your profile that you're mighty high on yourself and that's fine-like this part of your profile:

January 28 2007: For only the third time (out of a total of some 57 stories I've submitted to this site) one of my stories recieved its 1000th vote. 'Swimming With the Dolphins' joined 'Daddy, I whispered', and Ohhh Mommy, I groaned' yesterday and I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to vote for it.

January 2007: First I'd just like to wish all my readers a happy, prosperous and healthy 2007, and which includes of course lots of great sex.

I'd also like to thank all of you readers who've made it such an enjoyable year for me.

During the past 12 months here on Literotica my stories have been clicked open by readers more than one point eight million times. Over 15,000 times one of you has taken the time to vote on one of my stories.

And it's the thousands of comments and e-mails that readers have sent me that are especially gratifying.

Thanks everyone

Jim

I just think you're too hung up on numbers. You're probably a good writer with all the red H's but most all the stories are in the incest/taboo category and those get a lot of looks and votes anyway and the scoring is generally more than 4.50. So maybe someone will second the nomination and maybe you'll win something and life will go on and nobody will give it a thought. When you see the final voting in any of these categories what you'll find is someone may get 100 votes and in some categories the winning vote total may be less than 20. The people that care most about this end of the year thing are the authors-not the readers/listeners.

If you'd take the time to look at Boxlicker's list of stories, it's quite impressive really. Plus he's written in tons more categories and does poetry. There's really no comparison between you and him and I doubt he would try to make one.

You talk about another site and how much friendlier it is than this one and then attack Lloyd-what the fuck is that all about?

Have fun with the contest and if you need a real name, mine is Lee. On the other hand, when you attacked Lloyd as an Alt, who knows, maybe this is my Alt or maybe you're using one and you know what-I don't fuckin' care one way or the other. Bye Jimmy

Amen, Bearlee. :)

I realize that a bit of an ego is pretty much a requirement to be a writer, but some really go overboard, eh?

Question

Is it PC to nominate your own character? I mean, Mr. Scouries seems to be the only person I've ever noticed in these awards that nominates himself. If he has so many readers that think so highly of his stories and his characters, shouldn't they be the ones nominating and seconding his characters and stories?

ETA'd: I'd like to nominate SweetWitch's Carissa James from her Shelter From The Storm series.
