In this category, please nominate the writer who affected you the most in 2006. Whose stories did you seek out and enjoy? Who made laugh/cry/etc.?

Author must be an active Literotica author (meaning their account is still currently on Literotica – it has not been removed or cancelled) who submitted stories during the year 2006 (and those submissions must still be on the site).

One nomination per member, please. If multiple nominations are made by a member, only the first listed will count.

It has to be Longhorn_07, since he's the reason I started writing this year. The depth to his stories is amazing and he researches as much as any author on the site. Additionally, he is read and commented on as much as any author I've seen, despite writing only long stories.

I'd like to nominate impressive .

She has been instrumental not only in getting the Coming Together projects organized and kept on track, but also in many of us becoming published authors during the past year.

I'll second that. I didn't write much this year, but overall she's been amazingly influential on alot of people, at lit and at phaze.

Superb Writer

i nominate Daniellekitten. Her works are very addicting, and make one keep coming back to the site to see what she has written new.

Keep up the terrific work, Danielle. :rose:

I nominate brightlyiburn. Her epic and often interwining stories are a large part of the reason I started writing and posting stories myself. I don;t remember exaclty when I started reading her stories this past year, but I do know that I have been reading them for most of the year and I haven;t run out of new stories yet.

Lit award nominations

sr71plt. No other author I've read here writes so broadly across the categories--and so well and with such imagination and variety.

I would like to nominate SelenaKittyn for most influential writer of 2006.

Over the past year, Selena has submitted 237 stories and poems and finished 2nd place in the Survivor Contest. Selena's stories this year ranged through almost every category and every one of them was well recieved by fans as well as by her fellow authors. Within each category, she attempted ... and succeeded ... in capturing the key elements that readers look for, while also managing to break out of stereotypical scenarios or characters in order to create submissions that were inventive, provocative and engaging.

Whether her goal was to titillate with some of the most successful stroke stories (Baumgarnters or Mr Nolan's Bed) on the site or to make people stop and think and question (Faith or All These Years) each piece she has submitted has been well thought out, well written, and engages the readers attention. Although the Survivor Contest is based on quantity of input, Selena's submissions have shown that quality does not always have to suffer in order to achieve that goal.

I would like to nominate i_love_u_in_me. Her stories are full of emotion, and her characters seem to leap off of the page at the reader.

I would also like to nominate i_love_u_in_me.

She makes reading so much more alive and vivid. Her words paint pictures and her characters leap off of the page. She is an excellent writer.

I'm going to take a page out of my good friend Brian's book and say thank you but no thank you to any nominations I might receive. It's not that I don't appreciate the thought from my wonderful fans, it's just that I don't wish to be a part of this right now. Thanks so much anyway.
