Legend Of The Dragon Spiritmasters​

This is a game about seven magical warriors who wield the power of the Dragon Spirits, and the intimate relationships that develop between them on their quest to vanquish the Dark Spiritmasters. There are a total of ten spirits:

Light Spirits
Spirit of the Thunder Dragon (me)

Spirit of the Wind Dragon

Spirit of the Water Dragon
----- Water Clones, Forming, & Healing
Spirit of the Forest Dragon

Spirit of the Mountain Dragon
----- Rocks, Dirt, & Quakes
Spirit of the Fire Dragon
----- Fire Balls, Blasts, & Waves
Spirit of the Ice Dragon
----- Ice Spikes & Freezing

Dark Spirits
Spirit of the Death Dragon
----- Life Draining, Plaguing, & Animating Corpses (Zombies)
Spirit of the Shadow Dragon
----- Black Energy Balls, Bolts, & Shadow Clones
Spirit of the Terror Dragon
----- Illusion of enemy's greatest fears come true



The seven Light Spiritmasters must track down the three Dark Ones, but along the way they find themselves enjoying the adventure and the company of their companions. Don't worry about making a character just yet: For right now, I want you to reply to this with your choice of the six Light Spirits (I am the Thunder Spirit). First come first served type deal. Also, if possible, I'd like to get at least a few females in on this. It may b hard to get an even number so that every guy is paired with a girl, but then again, a few gays or lesbians may join up :p.

I'd kinda like to join as the Shadow Dragon. Somebody's gotta play a bad guy :devil:
 
Great. You can allo be the spirits you chose, except for the Shadow Dragon -- I already have plans for the baddies :p.
 
Cool hope we can get this going, the plot reminds me somewhat of a game I played a while back for the playstation.
 
Yay! We have all our spiritmasters now. I'll reply to this with my character sheet, and then each of you use the same format for your characters. Then I'll make a new thread for the actual rp.

Name: Hiroku Kazamaki

Spirit: Thunder Dragon

Primary Weapon: Katana
Background: Hiroku was born and raised in Orrojek of Kalimaru, and trained in the art of Bushido, the way of the Samurai. When he was nineteen the Spirit of the Thunder Dragon chose him as its new host and thus he became a Dragon Spiritmaster. He was taken to the Twin Spires in Mist Forest, just south of Urmordia, where he completed his training. He has now been a Spiritmaster for five years and recently gained command of the team.



OOC: Each time a Spiritmaster dies, the Spirit finds a new host. All the team members from when Hiroku first started have since passed, making him in charge. Also, the Twin Spires are two towers where the team resides between missions and during training sessions.

Background: Shirow one day ran into an old forest, badly injured, and collapsed. As he slept, he dreamt of a great green dragon. The dragon told him that he must head to a tower in a far away land. When he awoke, he was healed, and had a strange mark on his wrist, indicating that he was now the Forest Spiritmaster. As such, he followed an inner voice, heading for the tower.

Background: A skilled Mountain guide and Hunter, he earned his living protecting those that wished to cross the Shattered Mountains. During one such expedition, during an earthquake, he fell into a mountain cavern that had opened thanks to the earthquake with no way back out the way he came, Arngrim needed to find another way out after a perilous journey, he found his way to a small shrine, and discovered that the cave in and his journey had been the Dragon spirit testing him. Always looking for excitement he made his way to the Twin Spires, looking forward to the adventure to come.

Primary weapon: The ability to make herself untouchable, unless by fire.
Backround: A sweet yet skilled water warrier, with the ability to free water, and as well make herself untouchable to others unless if in love. Many a enemy come close and she would turn to ice noone had ever dared unfreeze her cold heart.. young and naieve yet firce and stunning. Misuzu would turn into one of the great woman dragon spirits. Having lost both of her parents in war now is alone to fend for herself.

Background: Raised in an icy fortress high above the valley, Frellya has never known true warmth. Not physically and not emotionally. Frellya’s father was devout in his belief the one of his sons would become a Spiritmaster. While the best tutors rigorously trained each of her six brothers, she was left to herself, only rarely allowed to share in their teachings. Isolated and ignored by her family, and grew to be a cold and beautiful young woman. On the day the Spirit of the Ice Dragon chose her as its new host her father rejoiced that one of his children had been selected and she left home vowing never to return. She travels to the Twin Spires because she has no choice, it is her duty.

Description: She is tall for a girl, slender and lithe. Her long hair is nearly white and her skin is fair, only the faint pink of her cheeks and lips keep her from looking pale. Her eyes are icy blue are set with long dark lashes below delicately arched brows. Either her clothing is of white or the ice blue of her eyes accented with silver. From her tight bodice with flowing sleeves hangs a knee-length skirt of layered jagged edges. She wears silver boots
 
No Phase Guns, Joe. lol. This is a fantasy world. Also, you don't become a host because you're closest the the previous one when he dies. I should have made this clear before, lol. When a spiritmaster dies, the spirit leaves his body and seeks a new host. It resides in the body that is most compadible with it's powers, whether they be in the same room or as thousand miles away.

Background: The spirit of the Wind dragon has always run free on the breeze. It hates confinement, hate boundries and prizes it's freedom above all else. The young vagabond named Jin is it's ideal host. Orphaned just after his birth, Jin has been raised as traveling performer. Traveling from place to place, dazzeling crowds with his acrobatics and the precision of his 8 Trigrams staff techniques. When he was selected for the new host of the Wind Dragon, Jin saw it as a bold new adventure.
His powers allow him to move at incredible speeds, create gusts of wind and miniature tornados and cyclones or in sudden powerfuls gusts to act as a shield. But for Jin there is now greater power than being able to fly on the winds, free and untethered by even gravity.
The youngest of the Dragons, Jin is playful, carefree and light-hearted. He is sometimes prone to be caught up in emotion but makes up for his lack of experience with pure heart and will.
