This is a challenge to write a poem(poems) based on/inspired by one of the Lit Art Contest III "Wet" entries. I encourage you to take this challenge and lets see what comes out when great art and poets get together.


Now a lil info about the Contest itself....
The third Literotica Art Contest is taking place this week, ending Sunday evening. We are hoping for something resembling a record turnout in the way of votes and/or commentary for the artists.

This Contest III's theme is "Wet" and we have some very creative and inspiring entries. (here is the link to the Artist's Corner....if I can figure out how to link :eek: )

Two poets, Art and I, participated in this contest. Not sure if any other poets participated or not. Anyway, I love to write image-inspired poetry. :) And there are some great images.

which one is yours? I would guess the pantys and the glass, or the wet dildo <grin. I would like to learn how to post a pic from these challenges and place them on a thread rather than attach an image. Makes the poem go with the pic, better!

i use photobucket or imageshack.

go to one of those and register (it's free).

put your picture onto one of those sites.

then, put the code for your picture between the tags [ img] and [ /img] in your post and hit submit reply and it should post with just the image.


test:

will sort it out later.

I did not find your Art confussing. In fact I felt this challenge was a harder discision than the past three, thus far.

you have two options as i see it,

either ask them to post their own art work here

or

ask if you can post it for them.
and always if posting other people's work the credit must be given to them, so you need to state whose work it is.
 
I don't mind posting who did the art work, that is a must. I will try mine first and then ask eve if she will allow me to post hers as well, and then... more

to get it here i simply copy and pasted the image code from photobucket and put it between
the [ img] and [ /img] coding (take the space out after the [ so it will work).

...that's not it at all!

It races to the edge
of a leaf or a rim
holds for a moment
calculating the wind

Then dives with delight
embracing the splash
the deathly collide
when dew and earth clash

A dew drop understands
and knows natures Art
the smaller it becomes
first risers to heaven

On an early morning mist
lies the secret dew wish
when the sun and earth kiss
arrives the dew drops lift

when a dew drop falls ...
it is racing to heaven!

Indeed there are. Your entry wasn't confusing... at least not to me. :rose:

I loved some of the entries and if I had any talent to write I'd have given this a try.

Art, you've almost got it right. you're copying over the tag that already has the 'img' command so you don't need to add it when you're putting it in a post.

you will see there are several options to copy and paste. try each one and you'll see how they look in a post.

certainly, but I would have hoped some one with a better poem would tickle your fancy. That was a quickie, tossed out to start the ball rolling <grin.
