ok-found them-i have seen them before right about the time i joined the thread-i made nice comments then and i will again now-you're gorgeous pim!

I've been to the police, made a statment, did a pretest(or is it pretext?), talked to the foster agancy.

Even though there may be no conviction, he has lost his foster child, can never foster again, his name is flagged as a possibile sex affender and he'll lose his jobsas a support-woker/carer and of course he will not get ired in that feiled, or any feild includig children, the elderly, or any kind of personal care.

*shudder* damn Australian wildlife

Yesterday I got in my car and went down to the local servo to fill up with petrol. Got out of the car, locked the door and what did I see crawling under the plastic weather shield on the driver's door?? A BLOODY GREAT HUGE SPIDER!!!!!!

Oh bugger - I'd forgotten to pull the fuel tank release lever and there was no key access to it, so I gingerly unlocked the door, pulled the lever (all the while ready to take a flying leap backwards if Mr Spider decided to crawl in my direction), shut and locked the door and moved right away from it. A lady at the next bowser over was laughing to herself so I asked her if they were poisonous (me not having a clue and the bloody thing looked to have fangs!) No they're not poisonous just bloody scary looking!

Filled the car, paid and got back and found that Mr Spider had moved to sit on the side mirror. I unlocked and got in the car and shut the door hard hoping he'd fall off - no such luck. I drove home with one eye on him and the other on the road, feeling very squicky cos I have a spider phobia and have had all my life. I got home and got out the passenger door, just could not face looking at that damn spider  Told Gil hoping he'd go down and get rid of it - no such luck he didn't take the hint

That bastard spider was still there, sitting on the mirror when I went down today to go get groceries. I went back up, grabbed a can of Baygon and unloaded half the can on him and leaped back quick! Mr Spider leaped off the mirror and started crawling across the garage floor with me still spraying him with Baygon. By the time he got half way across he was looking rather sick so I went to get the shopping, came back a couple of hours later and he was gone. I'll be keeping a watchful eye on my car now *shudder*

MASTER GIL had to giggle at the why she locked the doors at the servo  was it to keep the spider from getting into the car ??????????? & the reason i didn't go stomp the poor little thing was that the best method to defeat your phobia is to confront it which you did very well.
Oh & don't forget to add a replacement can of bug spray to the shopping list too.

orlanth. i am in awe of what you have done and what you have fought for. thank you. its reassuring to know there are people willing to fight like you have, just sad that such wonderful people have to go through things like that.

strength, love and

Actually, it's not a fun night... not a fun night at all... listening to people talking about home economics and bible study really isn't my thing...

In casy you haven't already guessed, the previous sentence is completely & utterly FALSE!!

... which is probably why it's a fun WEEKEND instead! :nana:
