rimlover: my wife's the same way, FWIW. hell, look over at the am pics forum: some very attractive women don't seem to think they're particularly attractive. that's why our jobs, as husbands, is to get them to be happier with themselves. :>

bill: good luck! you could ask her (it sounds like you haven't already), or perhaps do a quid pro quo sorta arrangement: "we take a video, and we get you [present]" or some such. make sure if she agrees that she has the tape and is responsible for it, in case that's a concern.

try to have her take them by herself and that way she would show you only the one she likes.

if she agree to that maybe taking pictures will turn her on and she will do it with you next.

rimlover: hey, i told my wife last week, "honey, i think we should get you a new pair of shoes to go w/ that dress" and proceeded to render useful suggestions while selecting a pair. heck, if i thought it would help, i'd take her to 9west and let her go nuts. but it won't. it doesn't matter, you see. all we can do is try to be helpful & supportive.

yeah, i hate it too, but the options are less attractive. :>

to be honest, i'd broach it with her, ask how she feels and explain why you want to. don't 'work on her' she'll feel uncomfortable and hurt.
in the meanwhile take photos, if you have a digi cam then ask her to blow you kisses at it whilst set on video function. she'll start to feel more at ease. if you're going away for a while on a trip etc without her it gives a purpose to the request.

i can see your dilema, assuming of course that you love her to bits, find her unbeliveably attractive and want to make a video because of ..... it's bloody difficult trying to encourage someone to try something new if they are unsure and embarressed of their physique, self critical and shy. what ever you say it's unlikely to convince her to chnage her mind. support, reassurance, honesty and a personal preview of you being naughty may help though!

Miss Oatlash and I taped ourselves. We had lots of fun. A few weeks later my apartment was broken into and the camera was stolen with the tape still in it. Somewhere a thief is getting a hell of a show.

definitely. I've gone so far as to set up 2 cameras for A and B footage for editing.

the first time we filmed ourselves I was completely shocked and dismayed at the result. while he looked fine, I looked sooo bad - plus the lighting was all wrong and the angle really off. I rewound the tape and demanded that we do it over. didn't want professional quality but damn near close to it especially since we had a Sony SVHS camera to deal with. for a while making little movies of ourselves was our biggest kink.

if you're wife isn't into it at first then maybe coax her in by suggesting a little taping on a birthday, anniversary or big holiday weekend. make it special - not pervy. good luck!
