Let no one feel lonely this Valentine's Day

The best comunity of friends one could find
Anywhere- be it in r/l or online!
Though we can not touch hands o'er the net
You've touched my heart and life for the best.
We've friendship and flirting and helpful imput
And lest we foget- a whole lot of smut!
So before you let yourself feel down
Remember-
You're never alone in Literotica Town!
I love you all in a special way
And wish you each a Happy Valentine's Day!

---------

hugs to all.

Love, Sweet

Thank you, Sweet! Now we can all say, "Someone wrote a poem for ME on Valentine's Day."

(I really didn't intend for that to rhyme.)

I don't think you can help it, LadyJ. :D You just have the gift.

Thank you, Sweets!

This is a poem I wrote last year for someone who was alone and didn't get a Valentine. It's still good.

Valentines Day, 2004

Snow falls quiet on the empty street
Beneath gray skies with no hint of sun.
Valentine’s Day
And one crow alone on a telephone wire.

An artificial day and of no importance,
Commercialized, trivialized and often ignored.
No doubt that’s why the box is empty.
The crow caws once and flies away.

And yet remember that through the skein of wires above your head
Calls go back and forth looking for friendly ears.
Notes are written, torn up and begun again.
Words clot in pens. Eyes search the snowy streets,
looking for you. Always
Looking for you.

What could be worse
than prose immersed
in rhyming verse?

"Remove the curse,
of words reversed
before I burst!"

A spell rehearsed;
a hope I nurse,
for a muse more terse.
