No, actually it is something that legitimately puzzles me. I could see the visceral anger and ill-mannered reply if I had insulted him, but I didn't. I thought he wished to engage in a real discussion of the subject, so a seemingly out of the blue blast of anger was a surprise as well as causing puzzlement. As a lay student of phycology, I'm always interested in the way of human responses.

For some reason I have a bit of a soft spot for the guy, but he does dig that hole deeper at times.
 
Funny, all of the fuck-ups and delays I've experienced related to the Wuhan Flu have been FedEx and UPS fuck-ups, not USPS. The same package of "sales" junk mail arrives every Tuesday rain or shine. The rest of the junk mail continually pours in. I do receive certain first class mail missives but if they've been delayed I wouldn't know, or care. One day delay in my bank statements arriving isn't a show stopper.

The Snopes write up confirms only that he's attempting to streamline the agency and stop the bleeding. Something that has been LONG overdue.

If you had read the article, you would realize that it addresses one very narrow statement. It doesn't rate it as false but unproven. Additionally, the analysis includes a lot of information that is damning to both DeJoy and Trump.

The claim was presented as fact (proven).
It is not fact, it is not proven and it cannot be proven.

So parse away all you want, it is not a valid claim (and valid has a specific meaning).

I also read the "class action" suit bullshit. There's a glaring problem with the petitioners allegation, that being that all of their 'evidence' has to do with delivery, not pick up. There is no allegation in that article, or in the Snopes hit piece, that alleges the mail won't be picked up. I'd think they'd have noticed that glaring discrepancy.

OK, so the mail won't get to the clerks office is the issue, right? This puts it squarely in the absentee voters realm. Apply in a timely manner, and respond in a timely manner and there should be no problem at all.

This is all nothing more than this years democrat cry of, "They're trying to starve grandma!!!"

That's the way I'm reading it. An attempt to legitimize the election before the election even takes place.

In that if these allegations had any basis in fact they would effect republicans just as much as democrats. That being the case you would expect to hear howls just as loud from the republican camp, but we don't. Why is that? Do republicans have access to some super secret mail service that democrats aren't allowed to use? The fact that this isn't bi-partisan is a BIG tell.
