The weekly ABC...Themed thread:

H is for Hat.

I've worn a fedora and a Santa hat. Here's my authentic Mountie / Smokey the Bear / Old time Boy Scout Stetson, manufactured by the sadly closed Biltmore Hat Factory in Guelph Ontario

As a hat lover myself, this is an awesome hat, TAN! Only YOU can prevent forest fires!!

H is for Harley/Davidson!

I got my bike license when I was 26, there's nothing like the rolling thunder of a herd of Harleys.

Tali! The first picture... Now I will never even think about messing with you! (Not that I planned on doing it before )

For quite a while Lit was sending me off to google one sex term or another, then this thread started to come up with some crazy words. But hats?? Never thought I will be googling that!

Now I know that "mountie" has nothing to do with the mountains or the forest service. Not to mention the strange fact that there is such a thing as a four dent hat!
By the way, looks like somebody still makes them, at least in the US.

I rode when I was you g, but more dirt bikes, never a Hog. Thanks for sharing these beautiful photos. :rose:

Never heard that before, ‘a herd of Harleys’, but agree I love the sound of bikes cruising past.

Sorry, "Mountie" is a term of endearment for members of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP)

These guys:

The "Mounted" part:

Evidently Queen Elizabeth rode a black Mountie horse named Burmese for years.
