Good riddance!

Of course you'll be back to read this thread since you are so sure there will be a crying and gnashing of teeth. Hell, I'm covered in ashes as I write...
Count me as ignorant #2!

ASENDIN DESCENDED

I'm sorry to see that your stay here was so short.
But you're not the first to become offended with some of the members here. Even I leave here for a few days of each week.

Don't go......

Per my way of thinking if you leave something you enjoy just because of the mindless drivel of some sniveling idiots -- they have won. They have succeded in running you off and taking over. That would be a shame.

I suppose its like the old song by Aaron Tippin "You've got to stand for something or you'll fall for anything."

ya know, there's an official leaving the board forever thread... you didn't have to start your own.

actually, what's up with everyone announcing their departure? why don't people just fade away? is it all about the drama? couldn't he have PM'd the only two people he wanted to say goodbye to? someone please explain all this public goodbye shit!

I have never been one to let bullies over-run me. It doesn't do me alot of good much of the time but I tend to be more of a confrontationalist than is good for my stress level.

We each have a voice and something to say, this does not mean that we always have to agree or that what we have to say always has to be the popular opinion. It just means that it is what we feel and what we have chosen to say. There is nothing whatsoever incorrect with speaking from the heart.

Anywhere you go, there are those you like and those you don't.

So where exactly are you running to?

Get used to it - there will always be people you don't get along with.

one of my favorite quotes:

"If you think growing up is tough then you're just not grown up enough .... baby."

I'm not a mean person by any means, but that is what you need to do. Grow up and accept that life and people just suck sometimes.

I'll outlast all of you......OK, maybe not me, but one of my sybliings will probably turn out the light.

Asendin'--that was an ass ending. Couldn't resist.

This is weak!

At least launch into a goodbye/fuck off rant.

I agree with whoever said what the hell is up with all the goodbye threads, melodrama on the internet? Who knew?

You are so damn right, Pagancowgirl. I don't know how many times I commented on that. I just think that it's a pitiful cry for attention. Kinda like saying, "Don't come any closer or I'll jump." :D

To which my reply would be... Then fucking jump already!

But then, I'm sometimes not a nice person. :p

edited because i'm still learning to spell

get off the drugs, or get some, GP's are in the yellow pages :)

drama, intrigue ... some people thrive on it.

Personally reminds me of Laurel's sig line .. the one about the spoons ..

Of cause GJD and PCG are correct in their...

Statements about goodbye threads...

Though if I was ever to leave I would not want to be lumped in with the Official leaving thread, I would want the exclusive rights to wallow in my own thread.

Then when I had got lots and lots of negative responses, I would re-edit my leaving post just to make the flamers look silly.

Though when you look at those who post replies even when the thread clearly states...no need to reply, there must be some vindication for posting the thread in the first place if all those posters post replies even when you have said no need.

As for Asendin's right to post as many goodbye threads as he wants, if you don't like to read them scroll past them.

I enjoy reading the I'm leaving threads if only to see if they are leaving for the same reasons I would leave, wow what a vicarious thrill that is.

I did not notice GJD or PCG flaming Thumper for posting an I'm leaving Lit thread last night.

Is that because Thumper was doing it as a joke, or because he has loads more posts?

Because if you're not getting good tongue, good tongue in cheek is the next best remedy.

I must admit this is the least exciting thread to generate troll activity is quite some time.

My kingdom for yayati.

JOKE!!??

That was no joke! I actually took a shower!

Bout time, too, the cat kept trying to cover me up.

Hate to see ya split dude...Thanks for the help with the computer problems.

need or right?

Please contact a dictionary for the words 'need' and 'right'.

v. need·ed, need·ing, needs

v. aux.

v. tr.

To have need of; require: The family needs money.
See Synonyms at lack.

v. intr.

If you feel that those who flame have the need to and the right to as well, does not Asendin have those very same rights to fulfil his needs?
