These are concerns that I have evpressed to him....a lot. *giggles* the nails will be as tiny as I can find, and then sanded, burned, and rubbed in alchy. And the wounds will be cleaned and bandaged. Not to mention the serfaces and all tools.

Thanks for the vote of confidence Leeroy. I make a dedicated nurse type for the little emperor not sure about adults with imaginary ailments it's been a while.........smiles.

I had not seen Firyfly before - I like what I saw, but fell asleep several times and did not catch them all. I do want to watch them again.

Disclaimer- everyone is allowed their own kink and all that, but after several years as a breastfeeding educator, I can not in good conscious ignore this. Even if Captains_Wench has no desire, intention, interest, or whatever, in ever ever ever being pregnant or nursing a baby, the fact remains that a woman's breast is too damned complex to pound a nail through (of any size) without there being a serious risk of complictions.

Lemmie give you a mini lesson in breast physiology for your Master to read.

The breast is comprised of blood velssles, milk ducts, nerve endings, and fatty tissue. The most important of these things being the milk ducts- which is why we have breasts, to begin with. The network of milk ducts in the breast run from the area up near the collar bone, and 2/3 of the way around a woman's side (under the arms), all the way through the entire breast, itself, to the nipple. In other words, it would be pretty damned difficult to nail anything through breast tissue, and avoid hitting something important. (For the purposes of my argument, I consider milk producing glands/duct work to be pretty damned important- even if a woman never intends to use it- see below.)

What happens if you do hit something important?

Short term issues:

You increase the odds of developing mastitis. If you don't know what mastitis is, Google it- and be prepared to spend the $$ on high dose antibiodics to clear it up. Also be prepared for the woman in question to spend a week (up to a month) feeling like she has the worst case of flu on the planet- unable to work, sore as hell, with a raging (to the point of dangerous) fever. If the area becomes abcessed, it will need to be drained by a doctor- occasionally this may require a followup with plastic surgery.

Medium-term issues:

Be prepared for scar tissue to form. The development of scar tissue is more likely if the one being "nailed" scars easily, or takes a while to heal from cuts/scrapes/burns. You might not even SEE the scar tissue- surface area scar tissue is not nearly as much of a concern as internal scar tissue. Should internal scar tissue develop along the pathway of the milk glands/ducts, that path to bring milk to the nipple will close- permanently. There are some studies showing the breast is able to regenerate milk ducts to bypass scar tissue, but it is best to presume this will not happen. This scar tissue will impact the woman's success at nursing a child (should she ever decide to try), and increase her odds of developing mastitis in the future. It will also make reading mamogram films more difficult, as (I believe) scar tissue is similar to fibroid tumors- which are farking uncomfortable to begin with; I know the roller coaster of emotions after being told there are spots on a mamogram film, and further testing is needed, is not something I would want to contribute to.

Long term issues:

As Neon mentioned, studies have shown breast trauma increases the odds of breast cancer. Nursing reduces the odds of breast cancer (20% for every 24 months, was the last study I read). Nailing a breat to a board manages to both induce trauma to the breast, and complicate a nursing relationship- killing two birds with one stone, as it were.

There are so many lovely things to be done with breasts... do we really need to do things that increase the risks of a woman getting violently ill, complicating her ability to use her breasts as nature intended (should she choose to do so), and/or contribute to an evil disease for which there is no cure?

Have her nipples professionally pierced if you must. Study (hands on) under someone who knows what the fuck they are doing, and then do play piercings with beading needles if you really really really *MUST* pierce the breast to get your rocks off, but christonaswizzlestick- respect the fact that breasts are not just lumps of fat, for you to hammer to a board for fun.

In other words- don't. break. your. property.

I apologize if my posts are harsh- breast health is a very serious subject to me, and although I grasp the eroticism of nervous anticipation (teasing), my background gets in the way with regards to breast play issues. It's the long term risks that get me... I always end up wondering how a man would respond, if we found a way to increase his odds of illness, or testicular cancer, or procreation/ability to ejaculate- all in the name of kink, and then teased and tormented him about following through with such things.
