When i'm tired or stressed I avoid threads of substance for the same reason. I just can't seem to absorb any of the information. Don't worry about it right now, join the fluff threads and read the substance threads later. *hugs*

You know what Grace? You have lots of great advice. Thank you.

(You people are all turning me into some kind of emoticon nutcase ;D ...)

Well I think so. But like all great people it's my curse to have wonderful advice but no one listens to me. *big sigh* OH WOE IS ME! :p

Thursday my daughter graduates from college... a bachelor's in elementary education. Lord, I never thought I'd see this day. (She's been in school long enough to have a PhD. That's no joke.)

And Saturday she and I see Madonna. This will be a good week.

Good night.

Congratulations on the big day. Hope that she does well in life. It takes a lot to finish school...having had two kids start college and then quit...I know. Heh.

Where is Miss Graceanne ................leaves a cookie :rose:

It's almost weird that I manage to find a computer the day after you leave out a cookie.

Long story short . . . I told my internet people (Comcast) to kiss my ass (not in so many words, but that's the gist), and had them turn off my internet. But now I can't get internet with anyone else cause I don't have a credit or debit card. (They get me in SOOOOOOO much trouble.) So hopefully I'll have internet by the end of the week. But frankly I was hoping to have it by monday, and that's not gonna happen.

I NEED MY INTERNET! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

No, I'm not addicted, why would you say that?

Anyway, gotta go. Can't monopolize other peoples computers. *sigh*

*grabs cookie on the way out the door*

*huggles for all*

What do you do when your Master comes over to you and says "Stick this in your mouth and suck"..............

and hands you a throat lozenge! :D  :nana:

Putting this here, didn't know where else it would fit

Just letting you all know, after talking with Master Gil's renal doctor and then between ourselves we have decided it would be best to not go forward with going for a kidney transplant.

There are too many other health factors to be considered and the chances of Him surviving a transplant, plus the powerful drugs He would have to take, make it a less than 50/50 option. We have decided we'd rather have each other for as long as we are given without putting Him through something which more than likely will end up killing Him sooner.

Oh, Lord. *hugs* I'm so sorry, hon. It sucks to have to choose between bad and worse, I know. I wish I could give you a real hug.

Thanks gracie  He was told before we met that He wasn't a good candidate and He'd pretty much accepted it, but when we got engaged the doctor brought it up again and we thought we would try.....but so many medical tests, with the odds so small (less than 50% chance of a successful outcome, with death a real possibility) made us think twice about it.

Yeah, I'd have made the same decision. Still sucks for both of you. *hugs*
