The Hallowed Halls of Hell II - OOC

Thanks for the invite.:)

Name: Killada Yutalay - Vampiress. . . not your typical blood sucker
Height: 5'3"
Weight: 135 lbs
Hair Color: Blue/Black
Eye Color: Green - Red when she shape shifts to her raven form
Skin Color: Ivory
Tattoos/Markings: None
Piercings: None
Horns: None
Tail: None
Wings: Only in her raven form

Typical Dress: A long, green velvet gown. Green cape with velvet hood. Black boots.

Miscellaneous: Killada is a Baohbith-sith Vampiress.

She was mortal until she was sixteen. She had wandered out into the night, though she’d been warned by her fellow gypsies that there were known Baohbith-siths in the woods. She thought she could see one and be safe. She was wrong. Her body was completely drained by the Baohbith-sith vampiress and thus she was transformed. Her life began with the slaughtering of her family as well as the other gypsies they traveled with. She lived on Earth for 1563 years until she was separated from her small group of fellow Baohbith-siths.

Villagers corned her, weakening her with the power of lead and shamrocks. She was then killed when a stack of Hawthorn was driven into her chest. She now resides in Hell. Her body is her weapon. Her talons are no longer hidden as they were on Earth in the form of fingernails. She still uses her spells of charm and dance, weaving her magic around her enemy before taking apart of them they do not want stolen. It is with these powers she has advanced from the lowest minions to one of the higher on the food chain. She resides within Gahenna as one of the Third Circle. She looks forward to sleeping her way to the top, or at least slipping there unnoticed, her ultimate goal. . . the Lucifer himself, for behind every evil man is a more evil woman.

Henrich, I'm just waiting to see if Arrios wants to start with the throne of the second circle or not. Last time I think Jorja had it. Damn, I miss her!

Once I know, I'll add the two of you to the Hierarchy List.

Welcome to Hell, Killaya! A welcome addition, indeed :)

The Hierarchy List has been updated..

The Third Circle of Hell - Acheron

(Since we have someone in the Third Circle and no one to claim the throne, I'm providing this discription until someone claims the throne.)

Acheron was once the pride of the infernal kingdom of Gahenna. Great pillars of black bone thrust upward into the perpetual darkness. Atop these pillars were the great houses of the diabolical gentry. High and ornate bridges vaulted from pillar to pillar, keeping the elite at a distance from the eternal war that carried on amidst the ash and flame on the sprawling plains below.

During the Sundering, these great bastions of power were brought low. The aristocracy of Acheron were bathed in the blood of the greatest war Hell had ever known. The opulent mansions were laid waste. The bridges crumbled and splintered in the bloodstained mud.

In the aftermath, all that is left of once great Acheron is ruin and bone and ash and dust.

My stats are the same as last time (and since I didn't make up the stats for Arrios last time, I'm not quite certain what they are)

And, I suppose since I took all that time to be PRince of the Second Circle, I do suppose I should keep it. For however long I can keep it, at least.

Avernus: First Circle of Hell

Known as Avernus to some, the First Circle of Hell is also the entrance to the infernal pits for all of the damned souls. These damned souls come to rest in the vast red plains known as the Plain of the Lost, massive deserts of clay stained red with blood and strewen with razors, blades, and barbed wire (barbed wire being one of the great inventions of the Mortal Realm, as far as most denizens of Hell were concerned). The damned souls spend some time adrift in the Plain of the Lost, sometimes for days or months, but often for years or decades. Many succumb to despair and simply lie down on the ground to await their fate. Others try in vain to escape, only to be tormented and returned to the Plain by harpies. Demons patrol the Plain, walking along ridges and using anything at their disposal to torment and sift through the souls, constantly seeking and sorting them for transportation down to the lower circles and their ultimate punishments.

The skies above Avernus are blood red, often streaked with faint wispy gray clouds. A brilliant orange sun burns in the sky above; night never falls here.

In the center of the Plain of the Lost is Razor's Kiss, a massive palace of iron with dozens of razor-sharp turrets. Annalyra's personal chambers are at the peak of the tallest tower, and elsewhere within the huge palace are hundreds of rooms, including a huge throne-room graced with a scandalous paintings of Annalyra and other demons in various acts of decadence and lust, and a large arena wherein the princess often makes captured souls fight against the more brutish demons.

Other buildings can be found elsewhere in the Plain of the Lost, including many estates for other powerful. Beyond the Plain rise the jagged, tortured peaks of Hell's Teeth, a seemingly limitless expanse of trackless mountains riddled with caves and rookeries for vultures and other birds of prey. Monsters dwell in the mountains, including the massvie demons known as behemoths. Rumor holds that somewhere deep in the mountains is an ungarded stairway that leads up to Heaven. The rulers of Hell encourage these rumors, for what is Hell without hope of escape?

Access to the Second Circle from the First is generally realized via magical portals, although there are massive pits here and there in the Plain of the Lost; holes in reality that drop down into darkness. One who falls into one of these pits seems to fall forever before awakening broken, ruined, but aware at some point within another Circle. It is via these shafts that the damned souls are transported once their place in Hell is set.

Heh. Then if Arrios has the crown I guess that means I shall have to take the more creative approach. Then shall we?

Yay! I posted my first.. post! I can't wait for Morgran to meet some of the other Sovereigns. Like Annalyra, maybe? ;)

Oh... never fear. Annalyra'll be making the rounds soon enough, and she's certainly got her eyes on the Sixth Circle down there... ;)

Gonna give it a go...

Here's hoping I'm up to snuff!

Name: Murmus
Height: 6"1'
Weight: 251 lbs.
Hair: Long and black, tied high in the back.
Eye Color: Grey.
Skin Color: Pale grey.
Tattoos/Markings: A red Soulstone lay embedded at the base of his throat, nestled against his collarbone.
Piercings: Hoop through the cartilage of his nose.
Horns: Two small ivory potrusions from his forhead.
Tail: Long and prehensile.
Wings: The remnants of bat like wings sprout from his back, little more than odd bone petrusions. They were broken and ripped away in the last great Civil War.

Typical Dress: Simple black leathers and armour. A roman kilt and sandals, leather bracers covering his forearms. His breastplate and shoulderpads are smooth and highly reflective. He is a lean demon, muscled but puny in comparison to most of Lucifer's minions. A black-hilted gladius hangs from his hip.

Miscellaneous: Murmus, one of God's fallen angels, had for eons been a Count. His was not a quest for power, but for knowledge. Murmus was a philosopher.

The noble loyally picked up his sword in the last civil war and fought valiantly. When the outcome became clear, however, he fled the chaos. For the past twenty years he's been in self-imposed exhile, continuing his studies. Now, as the Circles of Hell begin once more to teem with activity, he returns with his sights set on the empty throne of the Acheron.

The Seventh Circle - Cocytus

The rain in the Abyss is ceaseless. It's not water or ice or fire that falls here, but souls – an eternal deluge of the damned. The tortured lamentations of countless thousands fill the vast, black void as they plummet, endlessly, into oblivion.

From the far reaches of that infernal nightmare, hundreds of massive chains stretch toward the center, suspending the great stone foundation of Cocytus, Lucifer’s impregnable fortress of iron. The downpour of souls never touches the keep; it is the eye of the storm. Yet, from caves and alcoves and parapets, demons and harpies vault into the blackness to fall upon the miserable wretches to rape and rend as they fall past into darkness.

The iron turrets and spires of Cocytus tower high over the rocky foundation, reaching up in spite and defiance to all that lies above them. Along countless courtyards and battlements below, demons, imps, drakes, and harpies pass gushing fountains of blood and bile, through great galleries of tortured angels, men, and faeries, to vast halls and magnificent arenas all built to praise and glorify the Lord of the Underworld.

Sorry, Red, I got half way through my reply post when I asked myself "wait... would that be a dice-worthy altercation?" So now I'm posing that question to you. Are the results of your enchanting song something you'd like erusian to settle with some dice?

Well. . .you have to decide, was she planning on eating you alive. ;) Or was she just looking for a friend. :)

Actually, Killada... it's up to you. If you really intended to snare him into an enchantment with your song, then it would come down to dice.

However, from my perspective, I would read it as nothing more than a nice bit of color to the prose. I think it laces itself in nicely to the tale of your meeting.

Well done, all! A nice start...

It was a fun write. I'm glad to know it was well recieved. I think he'll know when she wishes to capture him for more then idle chatter. There are different levels to the intensity of her songs.

But now thinking back. . .If I had wanted to "snare" him, would I not have PM'd him and you letting you know that prior to posting??

So... we are dragging back the old plot? Alrighty. Now that that grants me my bearings....

Though I wouldn't mind my soul stones back >_>

You would have, yes. I'm just still paranoid about heeding the rules myself and that's reflecting itself in my interactions. Sorry 'bout this confusion.

Quite right, Killada. :)

Henrich: It seems that everyone slipped back into their former positions, so I figured we might as well... sans Soulstones, of course ;)

Awwww. But Henrich had used his soulstones to build his cool magical items. I am not after my soulstones because I had three of them >_>

Yeah, which is really bad for you Loth. Since, you let me have the ring in order for you to take the stone.

So, I got the ring, and now the stone is gone.

I see Satan has come out to play once again

Looking forward to reading it, better luck this time round!

Ah, but join us, love! Hell just isn't Hell without you!

lol God it has been awhile, Sorry I was reading all that had passed before. .. What a ride, eh?

Pooh said he needed someone to play with too..

Of course I would revive Sin'dra (Sin)

So tell me Luci ;) Is the 4th circle still a comfortable place for a spoiled countess to pass her time?
