Background: Michael graduated at the top of his class at the academy; he is extremely intelligent, well versed in marksmanship and hand to hand combat, and seems to have a knack for reading people. Once on the force, he quickly rose through the ranks to detective. He was assigned to homicide, and specialized in criminal profiling and criminal psychology. He gained a small bit of noteriety with the press for cracking a serial killer case four years ago, and it was his experience on that case that caused his superiors to make him lead detective on this particular case. Right now, he is a bit resentful of the FBI involvement in "his" case, but has been cooperating with them regardless.

Ivy is a wealthy girl, originally coming from Los Angeles. She's slender, yet very toned, works out a lot. Wants to be taken seriously as an investigative reporter, yet because of her looks and wealthy background is having trouble in that area. Refuses to take Daddy's help and got a job on her own in Plainsfield to make a name for herself. She doesn't flaunt her status, but doesn't hide it either. People don't know quite what to make of her, most not taking her very serious... unsure if she's just a spoiled rich girl playing at a job, or someone who really wants to be there.

First two newspaper articles are up, they are small and not terribly detailed. Workin on the last one now. Will do it before I actually put up a personal post. Detective Hallenbeck, forgive me, I have taken the liberty of inserting you into the newspaper articles.

I'm working on getting with our "killer" and getting autopsy reports up. For the police there should be one thing you would keep "secret" for as long as you could so when/if people start claiming responsibility you'd know if they mention the "hidden" evidence you would know they were legit or knew something about it.

I absolutely love the Newspaper reports Thanks. Vague is good, it helps push the story until we get the reports, which should be up later today.

John Doe discovered approximately 11:45 pm on November 12, 2005, in the back alley of Blue’s Bar and Grill located at 114 Lincoln Way, Plainfield, Illinois.

After the victim was released to the examiner it was photographed several times before being scraped for blood samples, tissue samples, hair and bodily fluid samples, as well as under the nail scrapings, and all other mandatory investigating procedures. These samples were immediately sent to the lab where test were run as ASAP.

Upon initial inspection the victim seemed to look as if the victim was sliced with a long sharp object, possibly a fillet knife or dagger. The cuts are clean, no rough edges, no tears. Range in size from small one inch cuts that only go in 1/4 inch deep to several long strips that are nine inches long and ½ inch deep. By the way the slices enter and exit the victim they were made in long sweeps downward with the left hand.

The wires were sent to the lab for analysis. They appear to be Mechanic’s Wire, 16 gauge, Diameter: .055 - .0625. Available at any hardware store. The wires were twisted counter clockwise indicating murderer was left handed, supporting the left hand theory of wound entrances/exits.

The male appears to be in relatively good condition and when x-rayed appears that his right arm had been broken during his youth. His face undamaged, teeth unharmed. All but one wound would not have been not fatal if treated properly, however the right jugular on victim’s neck was completely severed causing extreme blood loss which led to the death of the victim.

It is believed that the victim was assaulted somewhere else, then taken to the alley where the jugular was severed. Indications show that the fatal wound ran right to left, severing the trachea as well as all other tissues in the throat and neck. This concludes that the assailant forced the head back exposing the neck. Again angle of the cut supports a left handed assault.

There are no tissue samples or hair samples from anyone but the victim as well as no fingerprints. There was a small brand burnt into the upper right thigh that spells DAD in Arial text. It measures one inch by one inch. It was burned in deep probably while the victim was alive. The depth of the brand shows that the assailant pushed the irons in for several seconds. There is a slight counter clockwise twist, indicating that the assailant may have turned their arm slightly or the victim moved.

There is bruising on both wrists and ankles, possibly the victim was held upright during their attack. There were small traces of semen in the Urethra indicating the man did ejaculate sometime during the day, possibly one hour before his death.

Wound entries: random spacing, random sizes, 35 in the front upper torso to upper thighs. 26 on the back ranging from torso to upper thighs. All wounds look to be from the same blade.

Samples: Victim’s Blood = B+, alcohol content approximately 0.05, no signs of illegal drugs in the blood stream. Lung tissue reveals that chloroform was inhaled

Summary:

With evidence of chloroform indicates victim did not know assailant, but that is not concrete.

Indications of left handed assailant

Use of weapon indicates assailant knows how deep cuts can be placed in order to not harm the vital organs and/or vessels until they are ready to complete the assault.

Wire can be purchased by anyone and is available at any hardware store

Branding of victim indicates access to unique designs of iron or the ability to construct their own designs.

The remaining reports will not list all the reteric like sending things to the lab and such, but list the main details. This will be the larger of them (I think)

I would suggest that the FBI and the police pick out something to withhold from the Public or two things. Be sure to check with the reporter so she knows what not to ever add to her reports until later if it "leaks" out.

I'll get a couple of reports for the victim Jane Doe and the victim John Dixon around. This one will serve as the main out line. The report for the female victim will vary somewhat, but not by much.

left handed info needs to be withhelds from teh reporter, and public....as left handed is more rare, and rather specific...helps rule out copy cat killers.

the branding also seems to be somethign worth withholding. DAD is rather specific, so for the same reasons should not be public.

I'm assuming the M.O. stayed the same on the others for the most part, although I may have a couple questions with the second victim, being that she was a woman...unless you are making autopsy reports for the other victims too.

The Jane Doe one will have a few differences because of gender, but for the most part the same.

John Dixon will have a seperate one also, but will run the same lines as the original one.

Each victim will have a report, but the details will slowly trickle down to the main parts of the report and the orignal one would be the most detailed. So it is always a reference guide.

There is a faint odor of bleach. Further investigation revealed one small “splinter” strand of copper. This indicates that perhaps the woman was cleaned with a pad similar to those found in many household kitchens. Available at most discount stores.

Wound entries: random spacing, random sizes, 23 in the front upper torso to upper thighs. 16 on the back ranging from torso to upper thighs. All wounds look to be from the same blade.

Samples: Victim’s Blood = A, no signs of illegal drugs or alcohol in the blood stream. Lung tissue reveals that chloroform was inhaled rendering the victim unconscious.

Summary:

Bio for John Dixon:

John Dixon was born in Hassalford, North Dakota. Graduated High Hassalford High School, moved to Plainsfield, Illinois to pursue a business degree and settle down with girlfriend. Relationship ended shortly after the move.

He's single and wasn't dating anyone as far as friends knew. He lived in a two bedroom home and was reportedly a ladies man though respectful and not aggressive or dangerous.

Investigation of his home revealed: Avid reader of Ancient Egypt as well as Collector of fine wines. He is survived by his parents and one sister. All reside in Hassalford, North Dakota.

Victim John Dixon was found on January 1, 2006, in an alley located at City Hall 678 Executive Lane, Plainsfield, Illinois.

Number of cuts: 43 front upper torso and thighs. 35 rear torso and thighs. Again long sharp blade, but this time the cuts are not as deep but are extremely long in length, sometimes as long as two feet. Many are superficia some would have been life threatening. Same indication that assailant is left handed, but the blade this time may have been a small sword. The jugular was sliced with a sharp weapon, this time however unlike the other two cases, only the right neck jugular was severed. Again, clean cuts, perhaps, but not concrete that the item was a saber used in fencing.

Semen was found indicating ejaculation sometime during the day. Again no DNA evidence from the assailant.

Samples: Blood B-, alcohol count 0.09, their was no illegal substance on the male. No traces of chloroform in the lungs indicates that victim may have known assailant.

Body seems to have been moved from original place of attack and placed in the alley where it was then delivered the fatal wound across the jugular.

Summary:

Perhaps different weapon.
Sexual intercourse or masturbation
Possibly knew assailant or was willing until things took a turn for the worse

Seems as if each victim is bound in wire before being placed in the alley. Indicating the victim would have to be very strong to move them by hand or have either an accomplice or have some way to lift and carry them to desired location.

Boy that was fun ... For any one that would like to post "victims" let me know. Perhaps if we can't get various writers to write "victims" we can each do one. That way one person doesn't have to write all the "death"...lol.

Each one would need to have the key points, but could RP with the killer. Opinions are welcomed encouraged and NEEDED as are writers
