A Pen Dips

A pen dips
Drips its excesses
Falls to the page
Armies move
In its wake
Men's heads roll
Others smolder
At the stake
Empires rise
Nations fall
But
But when hearts
Melt like butter
Knees weaken
Thighs part
Lips are licked
And lips grow slick
That is my
Favorite
Power of the pen
Its most deliscious
Dripping excess
My pen
Seeks to dip

Swash that was ~Absolutely~ Beautiful!
Your power over words and the imagination never cease to amaze Me. You're a wonderful poet! Among ~other~ things.

Thank you swashbuckler

I can't explain how good it feels to see your name in print. I am among some very talented poets whose skill surpass my mine. To be in the same pub is humbling.

Peace,

daughter

no vacancies

Space behind my lids,
smooth surfaces between breasts
and thighs, slight high.
You settle, sigh, content to
fill that space;
no longer empty.

You like it there;
I like it that you like it here
feeling this space,
warm, settled, content, I sigh.

Full in this place we’ve made
between thighs, slight high,
smooth surfaces between
breasts,
space behind my lids.

Wow, I’ve missed a lot of good poetry recently! Kudos to all of the poets and poetesses sharing their works, I’ve enjoyed each fully…

Daughter, congrats…seeing your name in print is an adrenaline rush a writer needs to experience at least once in their lives!

Swash, darlin, “A Touch of Evil” is my favorite of yours yet. I may just have to get down on my knees (wicked grin) and beg for a line or two to use in my signature.

xoxo

fast talking
pouting, sulking

brooding, moody
sweet as tutti-frutti

flirting, flaunting
torturing, taunting

Rumor-Cat

housewives will gossip
drunkards will brag
who let this rumor-cat
out of its wicked bag

the squeak of springs
while he was away
carried on the grapevine
all the way to LA

brazen and bold
talk of the town
i've gained a quite new
unsightly renown

he was away on business
i was here to play
the mattress must have ears
for the news to reach LA

your kisses were torrid
my piercing screams ensued
and guess what…he heard 'em
loud and clear and true

whispered mutters
and side long glances
should i play it off as idle talk?
i think i'll take my chances

housewives will gossip
drunkards will brag
who let this rumor-cat
out of its wicked bag

Thank you, Mistress

Watch out. You're quite wicked and with these lines you have pawns at your feet begging to be corrupted. LOL

Peace,

daughter

Jorja, I must say that I am honored that you enjoyed Evil enough to want to quote a line or two. Of course, it would be my pleasure. And the thought of you on your knees.....

I just loved Rumor-Cat, as well. It is good to see you back psoting with us, as always one of the best in our midsts, thank you Jorja.

I Heard a Tale Today

I heard a tale today
Of sweetest honeycomb
And darkest shadow
Coming together to play
Heartstrings danced to and fro
And fingers set to roam

The tales were spun
Beneathe the looming moon
While fires flared and cooked
Something new was, perhaps begun
New mysteries were set to book
This minstrel sings a happy tune

'Cuz I heard a tale today
Of sweetest honeycomb
And darkest shadow
Coming together to play
Heartstrings danced to and fro
And lips set to roam

New games for darkness
To relish, toy, and play
Something for darkness to learn,
To gleen fro that heady mesh
To make his sweetness yearn
For the heart of darkness, night to day

I heard a tale today
Of sweetest honeycomb
And darkest shadow
Coming together to play
Heartstrings danced to and fro...
This song hopes
Two hearts have found a home

~for J&J, may your hearts find a home~
~Swash~

Illusionary Nothings

Entry without naive thoughts-
or so I believed with in my heart.
With no designs or desires,
there could be no wanting cares.
Flirting play of wording toss
arousing smiles and gasps Did not!

Laughter filled message tags,
subtly layered in sensual webs.
A taunting kiss and tweak of nose
has more meaning than cock in hole.
Tickling fancy and pillow fights holds
fair attention against sexual acts.

Light environs made with flair
becomes darken with real life's dares.
A troubled moment seeks light
and warm embrace of the mind.
Swift response in faraway distance
to give an ear and truly listen.

Cautious conversation leads
to teasing, soothing silliness.
Jumping to slow exploding
straddling session of utmost fullness.
Leaving sudden disillusionments
when laughter presence leaves nothing.

I know you
If I were to have never seen your name
I'd know you
If You were to be on the other side of earth
I'd know you
You are my darkest thoughts,
My deepest desires,
My scariest whims.
You are the part of my soul I long to show
Yet anyway still keep hidden
Two sides of the same coin are we,
Opposites, yet same in every way
Oh Angel, oh demon, my dream lover
Bring me to realm that's only yours
Incubus

Vailyn, thank you, and tribute is a fine word for it. :)
Your piece was nice too. I love that line "Laughter filled message tags"

Ldy T, what have your dreamy eyes seen? That was truly deliscious, luv

I have a magic carpet
It takes me places only I can see
It makes me think the world is more
Than just a turbulent sea

It shows me mountaintops
It shows me stars
It shows me the dark places way afar
It brings me to Your arms

You've shown me passion
You've shown me joy
In Your arms I have known happiness
In Your words You've shown me freedom

I enjoy my magic carpet,
Woven of the finest reds
It sails around the world in a night
So Your arms can wrap me tight.

In feilds of flowers He took me
My innocence, my love,
On feilds of dreams He left me
My loyalty, my trust
In feilds of hope I wandered alone
It's a long a biting road
I came upon where he lay
I looked into His eyes
The bittersweet of loves past then came
A flood of tears to my eyes
I looked at him, I saw him then
The beast he is, always will be
This long & bitter road taught me
In feilds of rust, and iron bars
I turned.. walked away... left him to lay.

I have a little secret,
Well maybe not so little.
He comes to me only at night
When the moon is out and the house is dark
He comes to bring me passion
And sometimes makes me shout
He comes to me with loving eyes,
Strong warm arms, powerful thighs
He comes to me with thoughts and whims
He teaches me of fantasies
And when the light of dawn does come
He promises of love.

The Journey

It’s been a long and winding road
Trying to reach my destination,
A destination not on the map
And whose name I do not know.
But it’s only the journey that matters.

The detours have been many along the way,
The weather has often been stormy
And demanded a change of directions and plans,
But in the end I know that it was all worth it.
For it’s only the journey that has shown me who I am.

I’ve survived accidents and healed my wounds,
Held my head above engulfing floods…
The floods of despair and hopelessness,
Have forged ahead when I thought about ending the trip early.
But it’s only the journey that teaches.

My fellow travelers have made me laugh,
Have sent me to the heights of ecstasy
And loved me well… have made me cry
And have thrown me into the depths of despair.
But it’s only the journey that helps me grow.

My trip is not as I would have written it
If I had been given the chance in the beginning,
But, as I look behind me and see how far I’ve traveled
And ahead of me and glimpse the scenery that beckons, I know
That it’s only the journey that is important.

No, I wouldn’t have missed it, wouldn’t have changed a thing,
Wouldn’t have given up one experience,
The strife and the conflicts and the magical moments,
For they’ve all made me who I am.
And it’s the journey that strengthens my spirit.

It’s taken me a long time to realize
I don’t have to be perfect,
And I don’t have to please everyone.
I like me just the way I am... and if I’m gone tomorrow
It was only the journey that mattered.

I cherish all the events along the way,
For they gave me the courage to move forward,
Starting with small halting steps
And then growing confident enough to spread my wings
And fly to places I never thought I could.

It is only the journey that matters.

That was truly beautiful Angel. You have a way of weaving words that leads us right down the journey with you. It's wonderful.

It's just a game we play
We'v played this game before,
It may seem a little strange
But truly the touches of leather
The kiss of the whip
The warmth of candle wax
Even the branding tip
The shivers the quivers
The sighs and moans
The pleasures and treasures
Of the long silk rope
These show of the warmth
The caring the trust
The adventure, exploration
To ecstacy unknown.
I do so enjoy the games we play
Their passion, their ecstacy, their fun
They've shown me new heights of love

A giant red carpet to lay us down on
You between my thighs
Intertwined bodies, rolling on the ground
Pressing, moaning out to the night sounds
Gripped together in movement
A dance for a whim.
Riding together a steep crested hill
A feild of red flowers for passion to spill

Ysandre,

Thank you so much. I am honoured that you like The Journey, and your kind words mean a lot to me.

And, my dear, I have enjoyed every one of your poems... you have a magical, descriptive way of expressing what's in your heart.

*hugs*
~Angel

The Stranger

The stranger is oblivious
As she couples with her mate in a frenzy...
Pupils dilated,
Lids heavy with passion,
Hair tumbling loose and wild,
Mouth swollen from mind-drugging kisses,
Body damp with longing and excitement.
Then, for one brief second,
Vision suddenly clears,
And I see my own reflection
Staring at me in the mirror.

An Evening for Two

Lovers meet, Feel the heat
Candlelight, Fire bright
Shadows dance, Wicked glance
Sip of wine, Limbs entwine
Arms enfold, Hands grow bold
Fingers seek, Knees grow weak
Eyes implore, Ask for more
Lips excite, Tease and bite
Tongues glide, Slide, collide
Hearts pound, Fevered sound
Groins press, Rub, caress
Passions rise, Throaty cries
Clothes are shed, Beside the bed
Bodies join, Groin to groin
Stab and thrust, Lost in lust
Sighs and moans, Gasps and groans
Mounting force, Hot sweet source
Heaving rush, Flooding gush
Weakened bliss, Deep wet kiss
Wrapped in pleasure, Nighttime treasure
Lovers sleep, In hot damp heap
