I run a no kill animal rescue shelter. Strays, owner surredenders, abuse cases and I am now doing some animal control work too. We have dogs in 42 states and are currently the number one shelter in our state My state is not known for its caring dog owners or its commitment to animal rights.

I won't try to convince you to participate in the foot thing, but I'll just say that your beauty does not end at your ankles. You're gorgeous from nose to toes and back again!

As for your work, I'm so proud of you for doing this amazing and difficult work. My daughter volunteered at a local County shelter for a year and it was really brutal. The amazing staff worked within the resources they had, but the facility was always full to capacity, and received more than 100 animals every DAY!!!

Never, ever buy an animal from a store or breeder. Ever!

Anyway, you totally rock!
