Anyone from the UK?

I’d suggest everyone gets a vpn set up beforehand just in case. Proton vpn is the one I’ve set up but there are lots of other free ones.

Evening all, thinking on how I want to approach publishing on the site again - I applied to get an editor through the “usual channels” - I had only one response and it wasn’t a positive experience - are there any other UK Lit’ers who would be interested in a thread for UK writers to showcase bits of their work and get feedback on? Thoughts?

Maybe ask in the authors hang out area. There are some good editors that post there.

It isn't you! If you check through the AH forum, there's been a shortage of editors for some years. 90% of the readership is probably US, so while there are plenty of UKers, maybe not enough to launch a UK writers thread - or else it would have been done already.
I'd suggest taking time to get to know folks in the AH and maybe asking a favour of another author, once you've got to know them better. Your genre will have a big impact on who will even give you feedback: I'd never bother to read anything incest or bdsm related because it's not my thing.

Thanks Noor and Sticky for your responses, appreciate it. I’ll have a think and go from there.

take the point sticky about the lack of a UK authors thread, it is a surprise to me there isn’t one but I note there’s maybe not many active UK authors at any one point.
