NZ has its political problems.. but nothing on the scale of the US.
Bonus-you don't need to drive around with a gun in your glove box...
Plus the scenery here is legendary..
Anyway, ANY of my US ( and Canadian) friends who want to visit ( or even stay) are more than welcome

When you're wanting to treat yourself, do you do a bunch of small things over the course of a few days or do you save up and do something big?

Both? Neither?

I'm terrible at treating myself. Now I just call it taking care of myself.

Sometimes it's stopping by an estate sale when I see it and go meet a random stranger by walking through their homes. I picture the life they must have led to have accumulated whatever it is that fills their home.

Bigger yet is letting me fall in love a little too the point of wanting to take a part of them home with me.

Other times it's setting a night to go to the spa when I'm on a new city. Prioritizing calming my body down before going into a big work week.

Earlier this year I took myself to Australia.

All of it was important. I didn't consider them treats, but if I think about the things I'd like to do, these are the love of things that come to mind.

I watched that a couple nights ago! I thought I was already familiar with much of his work, but yhere are so many things I didn’t know he scored!

I’ve always wanted to go to one of the Hollywood Bowl concerts where he conducts the LA Phil in playing music from films he’s scored while the videos play on the big screens. I did go to one of the screenings of Star Wars: A New Hope accompanied by the LA Phil and it was so much fun!

I don’t want to be treated like shit = it’s my fault it’s over. Whatever makes you feel better

I went to a (much) smaller theater to see The Empire Strikes Back this way…the live score was amazing to experience!

Isn’t it a statistical improbability that they could all fail at the same exact time?
