The promised “hope” and the cheerleading “joy” of the Democratic Party has been exposed as subterfuge, a cunning deception devilishly designed by the “Cultural Elite.”

Look, some of the "identity politics" zeal of the Democratic Party and the left does bother me to an extent, but you can't seriously sit there and claim that the MAGA crowd doesn't have an "identity politics" of its own. It's just the same kind of politics of butthurt and grievance, but from the perspective of other demographics, particularly, white, straight, Christian, and in certain cases, male voters. Now, there are legitimate male grievances, such as father's rights on custody and the Selective Service requirement and the underreporting and lack of protection of male rape victims (including by female perpetrators) and male abuse victims (including by female perpetrators in some cases). Those aren't the grievances voiced by MAGA, though. Hell, many of the MAGA crowd, such as Ted Cruz, stood up and defended the male-only draft registration law, for instance. You can't honestly defend the notion that the crowd that screamed about a "war on Christmas" isn't a bunch of snowflakes themselves. Give me a fucking break!

With all of the early voting, I don’t get why these endorsements keep coming so late.

If you don’t think that they impact voting that much—especially undecided voters—why not make the endorsements when they make the most impact…before early voting happens.

i think it's now something like 42% of elligible voters have voted early... i take your point, but people are people and we can't demand they make endorsements or when. All we can hope is that enough of them, this close to the election, still have sway to at least make same-day voters pause for thought.

The vast majority of Puerto Ricans in Florida back Vice President Kamala Harris’ White House bid and have a negative view of former president Donald Trump, according to a survey released days after a comedian made offensive comments about Puerto Rico at a Trump rally.

The Puerto Rico Research Hub at the University of Central Florida polled about 150 Puerto Ricans who predominantly live in Central Florida through an online survey in the last half of October. They found that 85% of those polled would vote for Harris while only 8% said they supported Trump. Six percent said that they would vote for an alternative candidate. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 8 percentage points.
