Here I am all caught up at 2200 PDT! I'm considering going to bed early. My contractor and designer rocked up at 0900 today. I suspect they will again tomorrow. What IS it with people working at that ungodly time of the morning?!? Of course, if it means my bathrooms will get done sooner, I guess I can deal with it!

I'm seeing my Ophthalmologist tomorrow. I hope it isn't sunny! Have a wonderful Wednesday, everyone! Make time for some mischief!

hopefully, they are making good progress on your bathroom.

My wife is a former medical person as well, and she always made me go to an ophthalmologist and instead of an optometrist.

Good luck! Let us know if they give you those sexy plastic wraparound sunglasses. Dilating your eyes really sucks.

Well a busy day beckons. Out on the hill.working the boys and now on pheasants so harder work for us all. Then a mad rush to get to the fly tying club AGM...be starting teaching in a couple of weeks. So that's my Wednesday nights taken for 5 months!

That sounds like a great hobby requiring very steady hands. Good to pass this kind of knowledge onto another generation (or the same one).

When I was a kid, you would see ringtail pheasants all the time. I don’t think I’ve seen one in 30 or 35 years. What kind of pheasants do you have in Scotland?

A nap is in the plan today. I slept fine until 1, took Tylenol because my lower back hurt. Finally fell asleep. Up for taxi run this morning. Heating pad is on the back.

Thanks. I feel very secure in the area I was assigned. In the other place 8 years ago, that is when we had to call the police for someone brandishing a weapon. My concern is to assure I know the plan for an active shooter scenario!

It absolutely sucks that anyone has to think about this.

But plans are indispensable. You’re doing a good thing B2!

I started to watch that horrible show. I enjoy mythology. That show is simply too vulgar for my taste. <shudders> The Boys is even worse. I'm currently watching Reacher and am quite enjoying everything but the fight scenes which are a tad violent.

We liked reacher. But it is pretty violent too.

Prednisone is a VERY last resort for me! It turns me into a complete bitch! I can't even stand myself!

I hate the stuff. On it currently, really didn't have a choice. Talked to the Dr about something similar (less harsh), for low dose continuous use. We're looking into that. Something has to change.
