Something different about this election …

Maine is voting on their state flag! The choices are to keep their current “seal on a blue bedsheet” design or change the state flag back to its original design of a 100+ years ago.

I’d vote for the old-time pine tree flag design. No brainer.

Why are Mainers voting on a new state flag?

Yeah, it’s more unique.

The current blue Maine flag reminds me of another state flag - I believe it’s Wisconsin, but there may be others like it.

There are about a dozen state flags that have the “seal on a blue bedsheet” design. Terrible.

Fortunately a few states have recently adopted much improved flags.

I recall that phrase "Appeal to Heaven" from Locke.

It does not mean a prayer.

I means an appeal to WAR.
