They are doing well thanks Lilli. Sam in particular is coming on well this season and seems to be getting it picking up on the hill.

Just don’t do what this guy did! He F’d up by chasing the cubs…then he did everything RIGHT after that! Momma wasn’t hav’n none of it! . He’s lucky he didn’t get mauled…or worse.

Off to get range supplies today. If they have one of those carbon&wood deals, I’ll be grabbing the one I’ve been looking for. Everyone have a great day!

Yeah.... I will be ok.... I got some prescriptions and gi follow up. Have a new primary care doc appt next week and we will go from there..... that stomach pain last night was awful

Well today was wet, very very wet. It got to the point where, by 2.30 the guns had enough and the day closed. Its was home for hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows…hot and sugary to help recovery.

A little about the boys with a couple of photos. In one you can see two things, how they stay calm for the 45 minutes a drive takes and just spectate. I stand about 25 yards away where I can watch them and the drive. Secondly looking at the winter colours you can see why I have yellows. Blacks would stand out in that environment.

The other photo is Sam out on the Merse yesterday when we were hoping for a shot at the geese. This is my favourite muddy ditch where I lie in wait. Sam sits behind the bank and kept his bum in the mud for the best part of a couple of hours. He is the apprentice and will,take over from Ben in a couple of years so this is as much training as it is wildfowling.

So i cut out of work a bit early. I had to wrestle social security for my mom.

First time I was there, the lady was completely unhelpful, not nice, and downright nasty. The more I stood up for myself, the worse it got.

I filed a complaint. That lady works for US!

(And on top of which, the paperwork they sent to the nursing home WAS ALL WRONG!)

So today I was fearing the worst.

But the experience was exactly the opposite. This lady was super nice, helpful and empathetic. (And she had a lovely trip to Greece in case you care…)!

All the right paperwork is in the works.

Now we just haveta get Medicaid to do their thing.

Good morning USA.

Well afternoon here. The day started with IT problems and frustrated G. Eventually got that sorted so I could do more important stuff like catching up with a good freind. Then it was paperwork and a little garden tidying.

Lunch is Cumberland sausage and mash with onion gravy. That’s the long thick sausage for you sausage lovers by the way!

This afternoon I will go blast a few clays then chill for the evening
