Pleased you enjoyed the 'day out' pics. No, sold the Rolls nearly twelve months ago..to a fellow who was aiming to start a wedding business. Just have the two wagons now...the ute and the jag. We've had a number of nice vehicles in the past, as you possibly remember, but the driving pleasure they are supposed to deliver, is just not worth the effort of maintaining them....particularly when you live in the sticks. No one around here or other country addresses we've had, can fix them if something goes wrong, even if it's minor. None of them were brand new. It was a trip of many hundreds of kms to get work done. I couldn't be bothered anymore. Both the ute and the jag each cost less than a Camry and are two of the best cars I've ever owned. From a young age I have always been mad on cars...a very keen motoring enthusiast, but not anymore.
The SP folder is nothing all that special; just hadn't completed it. The PW is next to the pic on the previous page.....just something different, no particular reason.
Losing interest in motor vehicles must be the high water mark of no longer putting up with hassles.

Thanks for your reply Richard, I like you have always enjoyed my motoring and have had many vehicles, old and new, over the years. One I have always lusted over but never could afford old or new is a Bentley continental, just a beautiful car. Having lived in Canada back in the 80’s I developed a love for big cars, my first big American car was a Ford Granada 1977 I still have a lot of affection for that car. I took my Canadian driving test in a 1978 Ford LTD wagon , one of the biggest cars on the road at that time, even the examiner was impressed.Happy times , these days over crowded roads and idiots with no road sense have taken a lot of the fun out of driving and I’ve reached a certain age where patience is in short supply. So I dream of what could have been and wide open roads and enjoy, very much, viewing your wonderful pictures of life in Australia and of course the lovely Vanessa. .............had to look up the Granada; recognized it straight away. I'll bet it was smooth. There is a big trade-off between comfort, performance and road holding in more recent vehicles. A car like your Granada would be rather enjoyable to travel in, on our country roads.....which vary widely between good and just bloody awful. Most people drive suv's and 4x4 so the poorer conditions can be conquered with relative ease. I don't like suv's and 4x4 is overkill for us now. The ute is a good all rounder and we like it a lot.
