Night, MissKWell good night all.... prepping ny mind to work this week......
Love that! They are durable boots!Red wing boots is what I had when I worked at the plant as an engineer. I still have them, and it's been 25 years. I had steel toe and the front has some leather burnt off from the acid plant but they are still good boots. They look like they've been through an acid plant but I still wear them.
Hmmm… now that I think about it, that episode they may have been arguing over how they met?Wasn't there many different stories that she would tell about how they met? I was trying to remember and a few popped in my head.
Sleep sleep sleepDang it - late again
that whole work thing will be here too soon
Still have about the last 1/5 of the book to go
must go to bed
Sweet Dreams all...
I'm off to read a few more minutes before bed

Glad you treated yourself…you deserve it after all that work….goWent and used my gift card at home goods. Bought myself 3 of my fave candles....
I really like their boots. I have wide feet too. I have a pair from 2012 that have been resoled 2x.
Last time I was in MN we went to the factory store and museum and saw the giant two story work boot!
Always bought my boots when in the US as I like welted sole. So many have soft vibram and it’s no use due to karate injuries. Now have a good producer over here, Brandecosse. Theirs are a fantastic npboot but expensive at nearly 500$ a pair. My oldest have done 6 seasons on the hill though and the high leg means I can still get through the burns with dry feet.
Red Wing make quality footwear
alas, hard to find boots wide enough and lightweight enough for me. my joints/tendons from knee down make for a challenging footwear fit![]()
Here you go, B2!I want the recipe. I am not much of a yeast bread maker but up to the challenge!
You can always tell me jokes! Bad or not!You were safe. I slept in to 530. So, no bad dad jokes unless requested.
I do too. I play Words With Friends with some of my friends.I like scrabble!!
I actually got 8 hours last night! WHOO-HOO! I'm going to try to replicate it again tonight!Me too. Takes me a bit to actually wake up. I'm usually cranky and craving sugar for some reason.
If I can even THINK of crossing something off my list, I count it as a win! I'm sure you had a busy day.Well could have been more productive. Today will be better. I do a bit every day
We had mid 70s today. It was glorious!Morning all my lovelies. A balmy 42° this am with a high of 72 forecasted........
Yes. I just stir up the bread at night, let it sit for 12-18 hours, and bake it the next day in my cast iron Dutch oven. I also make an overnight pizza dough that is really good!Is this Jim Lahey’s technique? I “gave” my wife this cookbook for a present years ago. I make a few of the no knead recipes in it.

I'm sure someone can provide you with a translation!Count me in but no naughty American words I don’t understand!
I've made this. It is, indeed, really yummy! Especially toasted. Of course, I couldn't find currants in any store here, not even TJ's so I ordered some from Amazon.
Oh, RJ! I'm so sorry! Are you doing OK?Wednesday I tripped on the top step of a set of two, fell and fractured my left leg. Mrs Rj is always telling me to pick up my feet...
After six hours in the ER, all I got was a nylon leg brace and a shot of morphine.
I'm not going to be dancing anytime soon though...
They call cookies biscuits over there. The one that confuses me is the difference between the names for what us in the USA call a cookie
I see what you did there, G!Sorry “fun” what is that……I didn’t say no naughty words just ones I don’t understand! If you explained or demonstrated it might get around the problem…..lol
Girl! Can you send me some of that energy?I am on fire..... dusted the living room taking apart a wobbly ottoman... I got for 5$ on facebook marketplace q long time qgo stained so time for the woodpile. Took the legs off as they still are nice. I have a cute little gate leg table that i moved from beside chair to make my coffee table. Gonna go to homegoods later. I got a gift card and want to get some candles for me.... and I am gonna vacumn and wash my car
I love biscuits!sorry - messed that up
(went for a nap shortly after that post - woke up way too early today for wording and stuff)
chat up = flirting (chatting someone up)
slag = dissing them or a slut
biscuit for cookie may have been easier for me. at the time, Midwest didn't do much in the way of biscuits and I'm not a bit cookie eater. Since then (late 80s) US cuisine has expanded. You can get a decent biscuit this far North of the Mason-Dixon Line... and more places have them on the menu. (I'm not counting McDonalds)
Scones IMO are their own, separate category
Mmm, biscuits
