The 50 Plus Cafe, Pub, All-Nite Greasy Spoon and Dive Bar

The line was Tin roof, rusted.
🤗🤗🤗
Let's just say I had that argument back in high school and they told us on Arsenio Hall what the line was.
Apparently, there was just dead space there in the song, and the girl with the red hair I believe just blurted out the first thing that popped into her head. Tin roof! Rusted. Cuz it was the love shack, I guess. Everyone liked it, so they kept it in the song.

But she yells "henry...Rusty....Love shack baby love shack" Listen to it. I believe I'm correct. It's at the end. Never mind it was after bang bang baby...your what? Henray, rusty...
Now that you know what the actual words are (NO ONE could tell just from her yelling it), the next time you hear it, you're going to go, "How did I miss that all these years?" Just like everyone else. 🙂

I always here what I want to hear. Never what is said. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
My favorite song ever is In a Big Country by, duh, Big Country. I basically made up almost all of the words when I was singing along to it. When I finally saw a video on YouTube that had the lyrics, I felt like such an idiot. I was SO far off. But who says "Like a lover's voice fires a mountainside"? Still don't even know what that means!

And Manfred Mann's Blinded by the Light? I would still swear he's singing, "Blinded by the light. Wrapped up like a douche, you know the roner in the night." Which is obviously wrong and doesn't make any sense at all. When I finally learn what they're actually singing, I'm going to feel like an idiot all over again.

And one time when I was a kid in the car with my mom dad and little sister, the one hit by Wild Cherry came on the radio. I asked my dad if they were saying "Play that fucky music, white boy."

My dad looked back at me like he was going to break my jaw. But he just said, "No. And don't ever say that word again."
