The CRV without AWD gets better mileage, but that ain't what she has. This would/will be an improvement. I told her that she's going to have to make appointments to get it cleaned so it doesn't look like a pigpen.

My truck does around 16 in town and 22-23 on the road, and for a nearly 3 ton vehicle with 4x4 and all that kinda crap, I don't think that's too shabby.

We drive ore than you do, apparently.

Was it that red one in the pic? Had one of those in college. I loved the comfort of the seat and the smooth ride. Loved that truck.

When I was in my early 20s, I must have gone to the college of stupid because my cousin and I put a garden hose in a underground yellow jacket nest. It was OK until we removed the hose...a thousand screaming jackets came flying out of the nest and proceeded to sting the hell out of us. My cousin and I ended up in the hospital with bunches of stings. It was awful...

I gotta tell you. I’ve found hornets nests the wrong way a few times. Thankfully not too bad.

Seems the older I get, the more the stings swell up, itch and get to me…

I'm actually thinking of visiting and hiking some of the wall when would be the best time of year to do that?

Personally I would go for it in June or September. Weather might be okay but never guaranteed as it's wild country. You also miss the main holiday period.

Jeez - that sounds awful RJ.

The only thing I trust to get rid of hornets nest are the hornet and wasp killer spray.

I have never, and will never try to burn them out either….
