How are you feeling rickie?
Mentally or physically? lol. Cold is betterHow are you feeling rickie?
Tell her someone recommended a walker for stability. She may come back with I don't need a walker then say you'll compromise with a walking stick...![]()
Thanks brother. Yeah, it’s a process.
Situational awareness is critical. My mom has reduced hearing and sight and is not too steady on her feet. But yesterday she amazed me and her PT by walking 100 feet and back. She amazes me!!

The horses look gorgeous! Good ol calypso.![]()
Someone once told me that we could have up to 3 in city, but it changed recently and I don't have the roosters crowing at me walking to my car anymore. I should look it up. We have foxes and coyotes in our area, so I will need to get a good home if I find out differently.
It's so pretty!I would love to live next to a pasture that had horses. I know you aren't next door but that is how I would like it. Especially in cool weather. I'd have my morning pot of coffee outside every day!
And is this the same lady who you worried about using a chainsaw that you bought a walking stick for? I like those twist ones too.
I'm a little frustrated I asked my sister if she would come and help me with the festival set up at 8:00 a.m. I call her yesterday and she'll be here somewhere around 10:00 well I don't need you at 10:00 I need you at 8:00. It's going to be hard work. It's annoying and it pisses me off. Don't come at all is what I want to say. Well I better get there earlier so I can find a place to park and set up. This is exactly why I don't count on anyone in my family.....
Probably a friend's chickensI have a picture of two chickens out for a walk and a forage in the city of Tampa. They were quite unconcerned by their surroundings.
That makes me feel A LOT better! I was worried for a bit.Nope, different wimminz. Mom needs a stick, and the landlady needs to pay attention to her chainsaw.
I hope you don't mind. This is LaFitte doing what we noticed him doing in the last couple of years before he died. He'd go over to this piece of the pasture and stare off to the southwest. This picture is from November of 2022 and he died April 17th the next spring. A couple of times, I noticed that Calypso went over and stood and stared with him. I went and stood and stared with im a couple of times, and he's acknowledge me and then resume his looking.
He's buried across the street. Calypso is buried in line of sight of this picture. When I visit him, I stare southwest.
We do . . . .

Good for you hun...I just heard from the family from Vegas that I told you all about the other day where I posted the book link. There daughter just contacted me. I haven't talked to her in a long time. She found out I got a divorce and was checking on me. Weird that I was just talking about her. But now, I have to explain it all over again! I wonder if it will ever stop. I am over explaining it.
Brighter note: I finally mowed my lawn! It took three times because of needing new blades, but Yay! I also pulled all the weeds out of my flower garden that the birdfeeder has created. Those were some tall thick plants.
Thanks brother!! I just started it.
This prolly made no sense...I lived my teens and 20's in Tampa. I knew a lot of people that had chickens. That is what my joke was based on. Such a small world, I wouldn't doubt it.Probably a friend's chickens![]()
