I tried vegetable garden here several times but the bugs kept enjoying them more than we did. I tried planting bug deterring flowers raised gardens screened gardens, but nope...I was just feeding my unfriendly bug neighbors.

Maybe bacon, but not whiskey or Klondike bars...

Happy Friday!!! It feels like a gyp to have to go in today because my pay hit the bank yesterday. But there is work to be done, and there is that.


Years ago, some Lit buddies and I talked about a commune of sorts for old age/later in life stuff. Most of them are no longer single. But Wat is on the More Dirt Acquisition plan/goal, so there may be communal options. Forty minutes outside of town and a few miles from the Amish market. Beef is available by the cow. Part of it is available for a large vegibbles garden/small farming operation. I like the idea of planting next year's food supply. There be options as Life moves inexorably forward. I just don't see cities as being sustainable.


Anyway, cup #1 is done, so refill . . . .

I believe that request has to be made to the head of the thread. In triplicate,with copies sent to the recording secretary, and whomever is posting the appropriate minutes of the day at the time of receipt of such request. Your request will take (5) working days to process and a determination shall be deemed as final with there/their/they're being no appeal process in effect at this time. Should your request be granted an authorized individual will be tasked in either slipping you a Mickie or striking you about the head and face until you are unconscious. Fulfilling your request for your nap back.

I'm thinking I want to do the whole thing. There are places to stay along the way. I'm not a camping girl, so I would have to base the trip around accommodations.
