Richard, I applaud your ability to snap pictures that are so crisp and steady with a gorgeous model like her in front of your lens ...![]()
Richard great shot, Vanessa beautiful as ever, looking forward for to more. Thanks to you both.
You two are the main reason I keep coming back to LIT. Always classy, beautiful and just the right level of eroticism. The connection that exists between Vanessa as the model and Richard as the cameraman is clear in all of your shots and while that relationship makes it look easy I do know that a lot of thought and preparation goes into many of these shots. Selecting wardrobe, location and lighting for a planned shoot or just recognizing an opportunity and seizing the moment when it arises. Both circumstances still rely on that ability of model and camerman being on the same wavelength to achieve these great results. You both deserve all of the praise you receive and more.
Thinking along these lines makes me wonder if either of you had any other experiences experiences that helped you along your photographic path. Vanessa, have you posed for anyone else? An art class perhaps? Similarly with Richard I wonder whether you have had the opportunity to work with other models to help hone your craft? Are you self taught or have you taken classes or been a member of a photography club? Whatever, the path that got the two of you here I hope that you are only midway on your journey and that you enjoy this hobby for many years to come.
Thanks as always for sharing and take care.
No Mais, Vanessa was my first subject for erotic photography, no other models. Yes, pretty much self taught; no lessons, courses or clubs.
When it comes to technicalities/science of photography I don't know a thing. Bit like not being able to read music but still play an instrument. I just take in whatever it is I want to photograph and let the camera take care of the details. That's the reason I invest in good cameras. Oh, I adjust white balance, apertures, lighting, decide which lens might give the best result for what I'm trying to capture etc etc, basic stuff, but I really just see a shot in my mind and fire away.
I've tried reading books, articles in photography magazines and so on but I just can't get into it. There are some very fine photographers out there and they really know their stuff and I've tried to take in what they're saying in the books etc but ..............

Vanessa has an understanding of all things science and I'll often ask her about a setting etc. It all works well. Thank you for the compliments and your interest. Very pleased you enjoy the thread.

Many thanks to all for your very consistent compliments, much appreciated.
