nude beach

It is a large expanse of beach and dunes in Gran Canaria. Not only is there nudity on the beach it is also throughout the dunes. However, there is a large swinging community on the island so the beach is where you make friends and the dunes are where you cement the friendship. In certain areas of the dunes you can literally come across people having sex, in public without a care in the world. I haven't been since covid and I believe large areas of the dunes are now closed off. How this has affected the sex life of many a tourist I don't know.

Funny, we've stayed in Meloneras (the beach resort right by the dunes) and thought it was ok - certainly not shit. Pretty nice beaches, plenty of nice places to eat and drink. I even walked over the dunes, seeing a few people sunbathing but no sexual activity - I wasn't looking for sex, just experiencing a walk over sand dunes. I know plenty of people whom go every year, for the nude sunbathing and chill.

We're debating whether to go back for our January break next year or to go to one of the other Canarian Islands.
 
I agree Maspolomas and Meloneras are nice, I was referring to Playa It looks tired these days. Pre the closing of the dunes the sex was mostly contained in an area behind the main nudist area.

Try Peurto de la Cruz, Tenerife. It isn't as sunny but the old town is fantastic. And it is significantly cheaper than other resorts, especially the hotels in the old town.

We've stayed there once but prefer Los Gigantes to stay in, shame it doesn't have a nearby nudist beach. We've visited nudist beaches on Lanzarote and hopefgoing to Fuerteventura next year.
 
I go to Studland Beach in Dorset (UK) several times a year, its a 90 minute drive for me. Its a lovely beach, but no facilities so take your own food/drink and be prepared for a long walk.
Years ago, I'd go to a nude beach at Southsea, I'm not sure if that still exists.
I've also been to a small naturist resort in Rovinj, Croatia which was great, and other nude friendly beaches in Italy and Spain.
