it came in handy in the army, and when I weigh my salad dish at lunchtime at the cafeteria at work!

Very important skill - those "pay by the ounce" salad bars will bleed you dry every time!

My son passed his CPA exams first time out. Has a masters in accountancy. Made partner in '21 or '22 - youngest in corporate history. He made every promotion the first year he was eligible. They are fast-traking him to Full Equity Partner.

Junior does audits. He calls bullshit when it needs to be called. He doesn't mind staring them right in the eyes, either.

So my job is getting rid of Google Chrome so I have to make sure all my stuff migrates over to Microsoft edge.... since when did I become an IT person. They gave us an information sheet to manually complete data migration....

Engineering is no joke!
