From my experience (and polling has alluded to this as well) - it is far more likely that a right winger has their network of choice on their TV at any time.

My in-laws have newsmax on their TV all day while they go about their daily activities. My parents, who are liberal, typically watch movies all day or hang out by the pool.

Ratings tend to reflect this as well.
