It is. I think Norfolk needed a stronger tea. My sister used to make pissy with Tetley. She would steep 2 or 3 cups with the same bag! That’s pissy tea!

I decided I’m not paying watch the Olympics. The only thing on regular tv was the ceremonies, which I took a pass on. (Watched my Mets beat the hated Braves and raiders of the lost ark concurrently.

My wife was like, “how can you do this? It’s giving motion sickness.”

NBC/Peacock did the same the Tour de France! . So pissed. I refuse to pay for it. If I have to guess, they’re trying to get ahead on the streaming platforms as they’re losing too much money on cable substrictions…only us “nicely aged” folks are still sticking to cable subscriptions. None of my kids or their friends watch cable TeeVee….they’re exclusive streamers and I have to admit about 80% of what I watch is streamed nowadays, when I do turn the thing on. F1 racing and old movies on TCM being the exception

For all your coffee drinkers out there, my mom can't have coffee anymore because it makes her heart beat fast. She will make a pot of coffee using like a tablespoon of coffee grounds so it has the scent of coffee but it's essentially hot water. She drinks it all day long

I have someone coming at 1pm tomorrow to quote my yardwork. Pray that he shows up and I can afford it...(I can, I am just a cheap ass). There is a builder that has built and or renovated houses in my village and he put in an endorsement. This builder when he first came in to the village really has stepped up to follow the rules he and his wife have financially supported some of our events we do for the villagers. He put a 1000$ check in the donation bucket for the service organization i belong to. Is he buying good will
...probably, but he follows the rules too so I can't complain. The other guy I reached out to is incommunicado still

So I still have cable tv. And Saturday mornings, MeTV has an hour of Popeye, an hour of woody woodpecker (I hate that little red pecker) but they also have the old school Bugs Bunny Roadrunner hour.

Bugs, daffy, porky pig, Elmer Fudd (me hunting), Yosemite Sam, Pete puma, foghorn leghorn….

My wife has a similar thing. It was giving her vertigo and making her heart race. She stopped cold turkey.

Hasn’t touched a cup in 6-7 years.

But she does like her coffeee kisses… (kissing just after I’ve had a sip of coffee)
