Back from my walk in the swampy mess outside that is passing for the atmosphere today. Worked up a nice pair of swampy armpits. Yeah, I know. No to decide on something for the morning meal.


Oh, the block layers have begun work next door on the foundation. Since they placed the footing, if it were Wat's job, the foundation would be long done and the framers would be installing the first floor system. But it's not . . . .

Yep, another denizen of the swamp here. In the mid 90’s today and just as high humidity. Windows are sweating away. So in honor, the next week will be Rain Forest Morning Z…if we’re going to sweat…might as well do it in paradise!

Now as I say this, not all newcomers have been acting against the wishes of some people here, but a few have.

I am hoping we can collectively separate the horses from the horses asses (and maybe the horseshit).

I am still 1000000% committed to newcomers joining, and I dont mind differences of opinion, but I DO mind people not respecting how we’ve set up this thread and not being respectful of long standing members.

I am working away... busy bee today with work meeting with docs to tell them to stop doing what they are doing wrong...(they love that). After those meeting over I have 4 village ordinances to type up to submit to mayor to go to our lawyers to look at. The 4th of July was a shit show in town.... I see a new ordinance in my future. They were setting off ordinances on the state route that runs through town and got mad when the police told them to shut it down. Fun until not safe then fun is done
